It was a tradition for her and I to watch y'all in the morning with my little sister. Mom passed away just a little over a month ago, and I just recently was able to start watching y'all again with my sister. The "caterpillar" snack still exists and is a relatively popular street food in Korea called Beondegi. It's silk worm pupae and actually is pretty tasty when drinking alcohol. Looking at the website for Reese, they actually specialized in bringing world foods to the US, so I wouldn't be surprised it was brought over from Korea.
