Tom Selleck has got to be my favorite actor. He isn't all... Holllywood. He's down to Earth, likes the finer things in life, is a pleasant personality, just a cool dude. He plays the coolest characters and is a superb actor.

Fun show. Love Selleck in most everything he's been in. Funny little mistake at the end. Magnum goes to pick up the rifle at the end of the clip but it's moved from behind the guy's head to somewhere way off to Magnum's left.
The 1st scene reminds me of The Godfather. When Clemenza and Don Corleone are stealing the rug.
Never see him looking more serious.

In the 80's, rifle leaping into the ocean meant death was expected. 🥳
He don't miss. Tom is a very great shooter and well trained in real life too. I know when I shoot, esp my 1911, I 'call the shot' like I was trained to by all my trainers. The last spot you are aiming before the recoil starts is where you hit. Many times you can see the impacts with a caliber almost half an inch around. It's the best handgun design of all time. With great training, you almost never miss.
@@AldoSchmedackMagnum's Colt 1911 was chambered in 9mm, I was surprised to find that out as I assumed it was .45

Probably solid rubber replicas. I'm sure Selleck was a strong guy, but the air he got under that rifle toss just screams "doesn't-weigh-nearly-ten-pounds," the way a real scoped bolt action would.
