I really love how Rajen was very firm that the family does not have to get along or appease the family, it is about respecting Afiya in general. Many men do not have this level of courage to protect their wives, fiancées and girlfriends against the families.
It's true. Many men do not support the girlfriend/wife etc. I was 21 years old dating a man from Bangladesh. We had a nice relationship, quite compatible. Only issue he was Muslim. I could have married him, but I could see he cared more about his parents feelings. I also felt if a man loved me he would accept me as the (Black American) Christian woman I was and we could have celebrated "both" of our cultures!! This was over 30 years ago. Now these days, I love seeing these couples choosing to marry for love; than for status, or arranged marriage. I don't see happiness for two people-- if you don't love each other. 💖💕💖💕
I am Indian, born in the UK and mother to two boys. My boys are free to be with whoever they want to be with regardless of colour of skin, religion, ethnicity etc. I want them to be happy - their happiness is paramount to me.
I love seeing you both together, it's sad that some of you're family and friends don't except your relationship, but I'm glad to see you are trying to move forward from it. I like how Rajin said you might have to make new family and friends.. hold true to yourselves.
I like how Rajen is taking a stand for his wife and defining the lines for your marriage and clarifying it to others. I like him for you Sis you have a warrior with you.
I'm black and was married to a white man for 42yrs but passed away 2yrs ago. We both found it difficult to tell our parents. Initially they were not happy but as time went by,they were Happy. They saw the great happiness we brought to each other. Yes some friends and relatives made negative comments. We stuck to our decision that we are not here to please the world. It's our marriage .
As a father of three young boys, one thing I will definitely take into consideration is the happiness of my boys when it comes to marriage. Not my happiness.
I’m an African American woman who’s been married to a Pakistani man for the last 25 years. I’m very fortunate that after my first visit to Pakistan, my in-laws accepted our marriage and love for each other. It has been a journey….a blessing. Different nationalities, religion, culture…at the end of the day, the respect we have always had for one another has been key. We have kids who know both sides of their background and we are beyond grateful for our experiences.
I'm African-American married to a Pakistani Punjabi. His family is so warm. I'm from the deep south in the US, and I've met an older Pakistani Pakhtun guy who's been married to his African-American wife for 27 years here in my state.
I am a black woman married to a white guy for 36 years. Listening to you guys, I am very confident that your relationship will endure no matter what negativity you face. So happy that I stumbled onto your channel. Wishing you nothing but eternal love and happiness.
Same same!! Happily married for 15 years to a white/hispanic man. These two in the video have the right stuff to make it ❤ It’s good to see real companionship, friendship and LOVE.
Rajen is really a warrior. Knowing how Indians are about blacks and the whole caste system, he really is a ride or die because..mehnnn, the pressure, societal pressure. Love your dynamics and the love you both share and wishing you more love and happiness forever!
I'm Afro carribbean ( Jamaican) and my husband is Indian Jamaican. I have been married 25:years and have three children before he passed away.. Never had a problem from either side from family or friends. Thank God. God bless your union and remember it's always about you and him and not the extended family members.
My husband and I celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary today, he's Indian and I'm jamaican. He was adamant that his parents lived their lives and he's living his. We have 2 successful daughters and life is wonderful. I love interracial marriages. Congratulations to you both.
I remember working with an Indian nurse whose daughter was marrying a white man, she was very upset and would talk to anyone that would listen about it! It was almost exhausting to keep hearing it over and over. This went on for weeks people started to avoid her not wanting to engage but I wasn’t sure what we could change about the situation her daughter was very firm in her decision. One day I told her that she seems more concerned about what her family and friends felt about it than how her daughter felt! For some reason it was like a light ball moment. She was very quiet after that, then came wedding picture and eventually the beautiful grand babies whom she absolutely adores.
Wow! She finally came around. I just never understood how people do this. They cared about what other people think. They never think if my child is happy who cares what you think. Then they are not your true friends. Worrying about who your child goes out with or marrying. It is really pathetic how people do this. Mine your business. If you cannot be happy for them. It seems like certain cultures do this.
I have 3 relatives that married outside of their races. Let me say as the matriarch of the family, I don't play that racist crap. If they can love them i can respect them. My relatives are my relatives...point blank period! All major events for dinners are usually at our house & trust me, i do NOT tolerate disrespect. My home is a safe haven for anyone that comes through my door. And if you don't like it...leave my house & may God Bless you all 😇
My family's sentiments exactly. However, in our culture, we don't classify our relatives' spouses as our family. We treat them with a great deal of respect, but they don't share our blood. We would have a problem with our relatives "shocking up" meaning living together without being married. We consider this unacceptable a d could lead to undesirable consequences.
I am a black man and I completely understand that race and racism are real things. However, this relationship is a perfect example of why I have no issues with interracial dating. Life is short and finding someone who truly makes you happy is difficult. If you find love and find someone who makes you happy, regardless of race, hold onto that. My favorite part of this video was his willingness to stand up to his parents and protect his partner and relationship. I wish you well and just know there are plenty of people who support your right to live your lives as you desire.
I love Rajen's mindset. You are the one who comes home to your partner--not your mother, your father, or your auntie. So you have to choose the relationship that actually makes you happy. You have to make the choices that you can live with. There is nothing wrong with choosing your happiness. I don't think you need to apologize because nothing you said is offensive. It's just that in Asian cultures, they do not have an independent sense of self; they have an interdependent sense of self. So children are not seen as autonomous beings--they are seen as the parents' extensions of themselves. Really, everyone in the family is seen as one. So they don't just make their own decisions based on what is actually best for them. Instead, they consider what everyone else is going to think and make decisions based on what the rest of the community will think. There are pros and cons to this type of culture. But a definite con is letting that mindset determine who you can love. I don't think it's worth it to let this kind of culture ruin your chance for love and happiness. I'm glad Rajen didn't let that come between you. If it weren't for you two being isolated due to COVID, do you think you still would have had the same resolve? I hope so. Anyway, I will stop spamming your comments now.😅
This!! "They have an interdependent sense of self". This is so true. I often to hear people's views of their lives and they sound like I'm hearing this from their parents. People are entitled to having their own views, but I hope it was come about on their own. Otherwise, it is so sad to see. Thank you for continuously supporting us 🫶🏽 That is actually a really good question. I think we would've been invited to functions and events which would have negative impact on Afiya mentally. But, no matter what I would have sided with Afiya and perservered. It has been important to me to always work as a team rather than against one an another.
I'm Indian and yes the prejudices are ridiculous. Parents should be happy the kid found a good , loveable person. I love this couple. Much love and success to you!
You two are a beautiful couple. I couldn’t stop smiling when Rajen spoke about his thoughts around not following his families beliefs - how he cooks, and wants Afiya to be in her feminine, as she should be!! Wishing you two all the best. Try not to stress yourselves with the family thing, a lot of Indians (who I’ve met) are ashamed of their own skin tones. Afiya is a beautiful QUEEN! And Rajen you’re a King for treating her as such.
My brother is married to an Indian lady. They live in Goa. The family were fine, if they were not nothing was said. They have been together for fourteen years. You are a beautiful couple. Stay strong in your love. If you are happy don't let anyone take it away. It is so hard to find a dedicated partner. It is a blessing. Hold strong!
You all realize that culture is what people live everyday and dictates a way of life. Two different cultures coming together will always be difficult. Especially when it is also two different races. White people are NOT the only ones who can be racist. They just perfected it and made loads of money from racism.
I don't like when people will judge and make assumptions before they've even met you. It happens all the time. I'm glad you didn't let that ruin your relationship. ❤
Known my Scottish husband for the past 24 yrs. We got together 14 yrs ago. We really liberated, support, trust and understand each other. Most friends and family can see how happy we now are. Strangers stare, comment and many years ago a man shove me when we were together for no reason. Some family and friends were initially in disbelief. They’ve got over it. Additionally, that’s their problem if they haven’t. I’m a middle aged black woman. Go for it. Live in love and happiness. ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your story. We're sorry that you had to experience such a nasty behaviour. But you are right, it is their problem not yours and to follow your heart ❤️
Aww you two are like a breath of fresh air you both got each other’s back and you are taking the time to talk and understand each other and not letting the negativity get in y’all’s bubble as Rajen said love it in time it’s gona work out prayers you two 🙏🏽
I am an elderly lady and I find you two so wise & sensible. I pray God’s continues to bless your relationship and home. Don’t allow others to intervene in your marriage. Respect your parents but that doesn’t mean you allow them to be cruel or disrespectful to either of you. Continue in the way you are going.
First time coming across your channel and I must say Rajen is exactly the type of guy to hold be in this relationship with. His handling of the matter was first class. Wishing you a blessed Union.
While in an interracial relationship, both parties have to have a united front. People may not always be happy for you, so you have to have each other to lean on. I love that Rajen took the time to learn about Afiya's culture. This seems like a solid couple. ❤️
Man I'm sorry you guys had to endure that but can be expected. You both are great people. I wish the world wasn't taught the wrong things for generations. Keep during what is right and life will be beautiful.
Thank you so much for commenting and watching. It is time to break the cycle for the upcoming generations ahead. We want to shed light and spread love and positivity ❤️. #LoveWhoYouLove ❤
Hello, Rajen and Afiya. I am not a subscriber yet, but a beautiful couple has popped into my feed. Their love for each other radiates from the screen. Sharing your triumphs and tragedies is admirable. I am a Gen X, so seeing how love conquers all is refreshing. I had an interracial relationship that ended severely back in the day, but I enjoyed seeing your success. I am black American, and she was Indian. Terrible experience!! I just saw the love you both share and wanted to share it.
I'm touched by your story. You are both happy, guard your relationship and union jealously. It's unfortunate how others feel but in life you can't please everyone, you didn't disrespect anyone and if people are offended by your existence it's beyond your control. I pray your union is blessed with peace, joy and even more love
As a product of African, Indian, Scottish and English mix, I say your offspring will be happy for who they are. My reflection of my great grandparents particularly the Indian ones is one of negativity when I hear the stories. We are ONE RACE, we arrive by the same process, but into different privileges. Thieves, disease and death don't see the colour of skin; shouldn't those who profess intelligence demonstrate intelligence. Live your lives, enjoy and be blessed. Wishing you every happiness.
I'm from Tamil Nadu India, my mum is Indian my dad is Cuban and though I was born 1961 this is still a culture/ ethnicity thing. As long as you two are willing to do the work and truly respect protect and love on each other " LOVE IS LOVE " 🥰🤗😘
Not full-time, I'm there for 3 to 4 months. It's a traumatic experience my entire sixty plus year existence. I'm not Indian enough or not Cuban or not this.....when asked as a child what I was mixed with, my Gogo taught me to say I was mixed with my mum and dad😅 it's more difficult with children from multi ethnic parents. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY 💯 YES, simply because the parents may be more involved because they, too, are going through the stares/ the questions/ the ugliness of being with a person of different skin tones/ hair textures/ facial features.....it's a lot.
Listen, I’ve been single for 8 years and what you guys have is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I can feel the love radiating from my tv screen! I’ve watched your videos at least three times each. Love comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, and the background doesn’t matter. My motto, “The Foundation of Love Must Be Built With Respect.” Respect is the umbrella and underneath falls: Communication, Trust, MUTUAL Understanding, Authenticity, Compromising, so many things. Blindian (Black And Indian), I love it and love you guys :)😊
I see such emotional intelligence with this couple! It's like you are both so much more emotionally mature than your parents. Like is too short for bigotry. I live in the American South, and it's ridiculous. A real friend will be happy that you are happy! Who needs haters?
I’m black and I dated a Mexican man for 7yrs. It started when I was in college. His family hated me and he went along with his family. I’m so happy for y’all. Don’t let nobody get in the middle of your marriage. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Aww that is so sad to hear. We're so sorry that you had to go through that. If you haven't already, we hope you find the love of your life that treats you well ❤️
I love the way you both protect each other and the space that you've created for your life I think that most marriages or relationships in general sometimes can fail because of they take on the pressure of outside influences and it can really doubt the relationship that you chosen to be in so the fact that you guys especially at him you're not willing to allow people who you know is gonna taint your world inside of it I think that is so awesome and I hope that you guys have A wonderful life together
You are such lovely individuals it isn't a wonder why you love each other so much. I believe in you both having a wonderful life for a long time. It hurts to know what you went through, but, I so appreciate the honesty expressed as to how family and friends behaved in such an expected but truly atrocious way toward your love for each other. You both give hope for future generations to come together not based on misguided, misplaced prejudices. Hugs to you both, I'm ending my thoughts on a very high note of hope.
Thank you so much Rosa ❤️. It wasn't easy to be open and honest. It is probably the first time we've spoken about what had happened. Thank you for watching and commenting, we really appreciate your kind words ❤️
That was an interesting story, I can't use the word beautiful, but what was beautiful was you two having each other's backs, that was awesome 😎 He is a real man for standing his grounds and standing up for you and your love. 🔥
Im Black and I met my late husband in 1977 who was white. we were married for 39 years. The problems you experienced were much like ours. I hope you have as much love and joy in your marriage as I remember having in ours.
Hi Afiya and Rajen, I just stumbled across this posting and was drawn in to watch all of your previous videos. I’m now a subscriber, continue to be the strong union that you are. Love you guys! 😊
Your story hits home for me! I'm a Black woman too and met an Indian guy from Kerala in Jan last year. Although I knew he would leave eventually, I tried not to get attached but we developed such a great emotional connection / bond, he felt like the male version of me 😂. I started to contemplate a serious commitment with him and in all honesty - I fell for him. He was so sweet and kind to me which also made him stand out. But unfortunetly he went back home and got married to someone else in Jan this year😢 I know he is a great guy, so it hurts so much to know he is married now and even more so that he didn't choose me. But I do ask myself if I was even a serious option for him since we don't live in the same country. He seems quite attached to me still, he contacts me frequently, even now, whilst married, which is soooo confusing. I geniunely hope he is okay and happy with his choice. I have empathy for him because of his cultural traditions and the magnitude of expectations placed on him. I'm not Indian and don't know the ins and outs of his culture, but I know it can't be easy. I mean everyone deserves the freedom to choose the partner that truly makes them happy. Eventhough we didn't get to marriage, I am glad you guys shared you story, because no one (besides him) understands what I am going through right now or can relate at all - so I rarely talk about it. I commend Rajen for choosing his own happiness tbh but I understand this is not easy or for the weak hearted 😂
This really touched our hearts. Thank you for sharing, this must not have been easy to speak about and deal with. We are so sorry you had to endure that. It seems like his heart is always with you no matter what. It's so sad when two people love each other but you can't be with them because of the cultural pressure and opinions. We hope you both find happiness because you truly deserve it ❤️
I understand your situation. Please cut him off, the decision has been made and his wife deserve his full attention. If it was you he chose , you would deserve his full attention. I wish you all the best in finding the love of your life.
@@elizabethrose5007I was about to type this. This can happen, even if both are of the same culture. May this lady find healing, and love. Wish her all the best 🙏🏾❤️
I relate to your story alot, although in my case we're bath indian lol. I am truly sorry as that's very painful but if possible please realize he's been unfair and selfish to you. You'll find someone way better eventually once you let him go. I know it's so tough though. 😫
@@RajenandAfiya Thanks so much for responding guys and not judging me I really appreciate it!! Everything happens for a reason and I will be okay in time ❤
Hearing peoples stories really make me appreciate my family so much because we do not care about race and have been mixing up for generations, they just want us to be loved and cared for. I think we should never take it for granted. I am glad however that y'all are choosing to love who you love despite family having opposing behavior. I say love who you love because when your parents are gone, only YOU will be living with the person you chose. I have to live with my spouse not my parents. So, even if my parents didnt like someone for their race I would not listen either so good on y'all. The sole care of the parents should be the character of the person their child is choosing. If the person the child chooses is no good, the parents have every right to voice their opinions but otherwise, they need to sit tight and chill.
The way your friend reacted negatively about you and Rajen, I experienced that. For me it wasn't even across race, but still I have friends that are not used to me being happily in love and they cant seem to get used to it. You hit the nail on the head. Sad but true! Glad you two chose happiness!!
I'm an African American woman, raised in California and my parents never cared who I married or was with as long as they treated me right and I was happy, my dad said I don't care if they're black red white or green 😂 so I can't understand why people make such a big issue over couples who are genuinely happy, just heard your video today and it was uplifting and I'm so glad you both stood and fought to stay together. ❤
Red white or green 😂 haha! But it's very true, your dad is right! Thank you so much for the comment, we are so glad that it helps people ❤️ #LoveWhoYouLove ❤️
First-time subscriber. I accidentally come across this channel. Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹. Have an enjoyable RUclips journey. Stay safe. Respect and blessings.
Maya Angelou said it well "If people show you who they are, believe them." That's why you have to say less to certain people. Y'all are a beautiful couple. I love seeing people marry outside their race.❤ I from Trinidad and Tobago and my husband is Puerto Rican. Come what may, we got this.
Omg this is quite refreshing to watch I honestly thought they all hated us I've never seen an Asian man with a black woman wow this is refreshing brave guy
@dr.migueltorrezedd8651 I've lived in Canada and now the UK and the Asian population is quite vast and I've never seen it. Even in the Caribbean its frowned upon its just sad.
😭😭😭😭😭 standing up for you against his parents must’ve have been hard on him but he did it ! i have hope for the coming generations, we’ve come a long way as society and i am glad that our generation are now more vocal on the things they actually want
Thanks for sharing guys. You are both so sweet. Well done for standing for your love. It's amazing to me how people who are most affected by racism (Blacks & Asians) can internalise that hate and project it outward.
Welcome to the Blindian Fam! 21 years married to my best friend and still each day feels brand new!😊 Y’all will be just fine just each other laugh! Family and friends will be just fine and if not, oh well!😂 Always have each other’s backs and I can see that in Jajen’s eyes that he wasn’t having it at all; Afiya is the icing to this sweet relationship! Have Fun❤
Awww that is amazing!! We love this 🫶🏽. Congratulations to you both! Haha you're so right! And thank you for sharing the secret to a long and happy marriage ❤️ Definitely, Afiya is really the icing 😍 #LoveWhoYouLove❤️
The cultural difficulties speech thank you , I really appreciate the points made, I wish more men had similar mindsets. PROTECT YOUR QUEEN AND YOUR OWN FAMILY’
I am a 55-year-old African Diasporan woman in a relationship with a 49-year-old Indian (from India) man. I have always been open to culture and love without boundaries. We are in a FLR of his choosing. As a high earning hard-working man, I love the fact that he loves relinquishing control, empowering me always and supporting and encouraging me in my professional career at the same time. This is by far the most rewarding, pleasurable, positive, secure, healthy, and exciting relationship that I have EVER been in. Please continue protecting your peace and happiness; ignorance has no place in love or the world. My ex-husband's were Hispanic and I expereinced the same disrespect from their family members as a woman of color and my husband's would never defend against the treatment. He is coming out of an arranged marriage; divorced 10 years ago. We met and are now looking to spend the rest of our lives together whether family and friends accept or not.
Thank you for sharing your story. The love that you have found sounds pure joy. I am so happy for you and your partner. Wishing you and your partner all the best ❤️❤️
You two makes a lovely couple. I just got out of an interracial relationship with an Indian guy also. Not because of him, he’s a great guy but his family. My black family thinks nothing of it and likes him. He’s very close with his family therefore I knew it wouldn’t work.
Hi Rajen and Afiya! You guys are such a lovely couple! This is the first video of yours that I have seen. Honestly, I was a bit surprised at the subject matter relative to family reactions to your dating initially, and I imagine, your subsequent marriage. I kept thinking this could not be an issue in the present day. Surely we have progressed beyond this! Regardless, you both have a bond that is palpable. I love seeing how much you love each other! At the end of the day, that’s what’s most important! Stay strong in your love and respect for each other!
Thank you so much for the heartwarming words❤️. It is a shame that it is like this here in the UK and in 2024. This is why we felt it was important to share, hopefully break the cycle and inspire others. #LoveWhoYouLove❤️
I appreciate the level of maturity that you both are showing. This shows how real your love is and how you want the world to view you. It’s very inspiring to see this in our time. God bless😊
You're a lovely couple!! don't mind the others. Just live your best lives, love wins always. Thank you for sharing, much blessings. One Love from New Jersey USA.
Great to hear a young man stand up for his partner/ wife. It’s a hard road because family is important. You’re shaped and formed by them and are forever a part of them and they if you. So we pray that the relationship has changed over time and you are all comfortable together now. God bless.
I’m an Indian British woman married to Black British man. We’ve been together for 23 years and been through it all. My family accept him, but my mum cares a lot about other people’s opinions and I notice she is embarrassed to be seen with us sometimes. Doesn’t stop us and our relationship and marriage has been wonderful. Hopefully babies next!
Oh wow! 23 years! That is so amazing to hear and inspiring. It is sad that after 23 years your mother is still not accepting. But the main thing is you and your husband are truly happy❤️ Thank you for sharing and watching us 🫶🏽. Haha yes.. maybe!
@@RajenandAfiya Thank you. I meant babies next for me and hubby! I don’t make those suggestions with other people as it’s a personal choice. You are both very beautiful individuals, inside and out xx
Good looking couple! I enjoyed hearing your story on how love and perseverance helped to overcome the obstacles you both faced by other's judgment! It's not about what others think, instead it's about the love you two share with one another! Instant new subscriber! Blessings to you both 🙏🏾!
Wow, love seeing Rajen with our Trini pendant 🇹🇹. Sending love ❤❤. Afiya your friend was jealous, realizing how happy you are and probably she is not. Parents, family, and friends need to understand when they live in a cosmopolitan country, there is always the posibility that somewhere along the way persons of other races would end up within the family structure.
What a beautiful couple. What a lovely young man. A true gentleman, Rajen is. Very handsome, too! Also, Afiya is so lovely. May you have MANY, MANY, years of happiness. This is sooo beautiful! ❤❤❤ I'm so glad I found your channel! ❤❤
Thank you for sharing. Your outlook on family & friends is mature and healthy for your mental & emotional well being. I applaud you! Best wishes to you both.
Full respect to Rajen for standing up for Afiya, for protecting your energy. My ex was not so strong and I often call him a coward, we split because his parents were having none of it solely because I'm black, even to the point where she organised women for him to meet and get married to. 5 years I couldn't take it anymore, was mentally and emotionally draining. Last straw was when he ran away in Asda when we saw his mom. That was awful. Ha! Friends... I can't!! Energy drainers, they became judgmental and unsupportive. Fully agree with both you Afiya and Rajen, thankyou for sharing your experience.
You two are a beautiful couple. Watching your interaction with each other is heart warming. Wishing you both lots of happiness and regardless of what life throws at you - I hope your bond grows stronger.
You two are beautiful. I too married into an interracial family. It was very difficult earlier in the marriage because we had too many interfering inlaws. Still Alhamdulillah me as an Indian and strong willed and of course by the Grace of GOD have made it work.
I love how you both stood by each other against family objections. I pray that family may come around and support you. Praying that you may move from strength to strength. ❤
Beautiful couple! Her skin is flawless! Not sure why RUclips recommended video, but okay cool!😊 On another note, I couldn't help but about the fact that many indian women and men have the same or even darker complexion than Afiya. There is colorism and racism within all ethnic groups. If Afiya were a dark-skin Indian woman, I wonder if Rajen's parents would've had the same apprehension. New video suggestion: Can Rajen talk about the colorism within Indian culture? A lot of Indian women routinely bleach their and their kids skin to be lighter with the goal of presenting whiter.
Aww thank you so much 🥹❤️. As for me bringing darker skinned Indian woman home and how my parents would've reacted - If I'm entirely honest, I feel the reactions would be the same unfortunately. Thank you for the video suggestion. Definitely taking this on board. It is so sad that this happens.
Thank you for all the love and support to each and everyone of you. We are truly overwhelmed and blessed 🥹❤ The world has some beautiful people in it! 🫶 Stay tuned as we aim to upload a video every Sunday! Thank you for subscribing ❤

Yes, if your man is defending you for what you stand for and being together that's a great sign of someone who will be there for you.
I agree I love that he stands up for what he wants..
So sad isn't it! What was the reason why his family did not accept you?

I’m an African American woman who’s been married to a Pakistani man for the last 25 years. I’m very fortunate that after my first visit to Pakistan, my in-laws accepted our marriage and love for each other. It has been a journey….a blessing. Different nationalities, religion, culture…at the end of the day, the respect we have always had for one another has been key. We have kids who know both sides of their background and we are beyond grateful for our experiences.

Crazy how some people think about the community before their children's happiness
I couldn’t agree with you more 👏👏🏻👏🏼👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿
Exactly my take.
AMEN TO THAT.

Thank you for continuously supporting us 🫶🏽

You all realize that culture is what people live everyday and dictates a way of life. Two different cultures coming together will always be difficult. Especially when it is also two different races.

We hope you both find happiness because you truly deserve it ❤️

Your family sounds amazing! Everything you've said has been spot on! Thank you for your lovely comment.
The way your friend reacted negatively about you and Rajen, I experienced that. For me it wasn't even across race, but still I have friends that are not used to me being happily in love and they cant seem to get used to it. You hit the nail on the head. Sad but true! Glad you two chose happiness!!
That is so sad. People can't seem to just be happy for you and project their insecurities onto you.

I appreciate the level of maturity that you both are showing. This shows how real your love is and how you want the world to view you. It’s very inspiring to see this in our time. God bless😊
Thank you so much for the kind words 🫶🏽

Oh sorry!!😂 I wish you and your husband all the best with your journey. We love hearing about your love story. ❤️
Good looking couple! I enjoyed hearing your story on how love and perseverance helped to overcome the obstacles you both faced by other's judgment! It's not about what others think, instead it's about the love you two share with one another! Instant new subscriber! Blessings to you both 🙏🏾!
Thank you so much, we really appreciate your lovely comment. And thank you for subscribing! ❤️

🙏🏾❤️
What a beautiful couple. What a lovely young man. A true gentleman, Rajen is. Very handsome, too! Also, Afiya is so lovely.
May you have MANY, MANY, years of happiness. This is sooo beautiful! ❤❤❤
I'm so glad I found your channel! ❤❤
Awww that is so nice of you to say 🥹❤️ We're so happy you found out us too! We really appreciate your comment and support, it means a lot to us ❤️

He is so real about his relationship which is great towards his wife I applaud you keep up the great work educating others
Thank you so much Carlene 🙏🏾❤️
Thanks for sharing this video.
I can see the love and respect you have for each other - you are both truly blessed.❤️🙏🍀
Greetings from Chicago south side, You’re a beautiful couple. All the best.
Wow Chicago! I went there years ago and I loved it!! Thank you so much for your wonderful words 🥹❤️

@@RajenandAfiya Greetings from Chicago south side, I’m glad you enjoyed my city. I hope you can visit again. Sending positive thoughts your way.
Its beautiful to see how happy you two are and how you've been able to stand strong together.
Rajen really loves you for standing for you against his family that's a blessing and may God continue to bless you❤❤❤
"I could be in the same room without being killed." Ahahaha!😂🤣💀
Haha😂
You two are a beautiful couple. Watching your interaction with each other is heart warming. Wishing you both lots of happiness and regardless of what life throws at you - I hope your bond grows stronger.
Thank you ❤️🙏🏾
You two are beautiful. I too married into an interracial family. It was very difficult earlier in the marriage because we had too many interfering inlaws. Still Alhamdulillah me as an Indian and strong willed and of course by the Grace of GOD have made it work.
CONGRATULATIONS!… a great example that proves, “ love conquers all”
I love how you both stood by each other against family objections. I pray that family may come around and support you. Praying that you may move from strength to strength. ❤
Thank you! ❤️ We appreciate the prayers!

Recently found your channel. Much love to you both. Thank you for sharing. One Love💚✨
Thank you for watching ❤️
Beautiful couple! Her skin is flawless! Not sure why RUclips recommended video, but okay cool!😊
On another note, I couldn't help but about the fact that many indian women and men have the same or even darker complexion than Afiya.
