@gnawnickvods939 it's not, you're just too braindead to comprehend the entire fucking point is that it's a set up joke to laugh at and add onto. Nobody commenting thinks this is real.
I once woke up with a perfect song in my head and wrote it down and kept singing it and was like "I'm a genius, I'm going to become a famous singer" then I sang it to my dad and brother and they informed me that it was a song from a band that were on the TV at Glastonbury the night before. I still haven't recovered from that.
It’s honestly happened to all musicians, your writing and you realize mid way “oh my god this is the best song I’ve ever written!” You get all these feelings of hope and inspiration only to have it shattered when you hear it’s actually a super popular song from when you were younger that was buried deep in your subconscious 😂
I’m 90% sure that wonderwall is a fundamental piece of the human psyche, and may very well be the purest form of art, therefore making all other music derivative and leading all creative endeavors inevitably back to itself.
That’s interesting but couldn’t it also just be primacy bias because that’s the first version of this fundamental experience that is generally widespread in public consciousness
every song is a 4 chord song and all hits have been already written in classical music 100's of years ago. There' a finite combination of songs you can write with 7 octaves of sounds (from a piano), and very few combinations that actually sound good to the human psyche.
One time I accidentally wrote “Waiting on the World to Change” and was so pissed off when I realized that the riff *sounded* familiar because *JOHN MAYER WENT QUADRUPLE PLATINUM WITH IT*
Those who don’t play guitar would be surprised by the amount of songs that are the exact same chord progression with a slightly different strumming pattern or capo
I basically was making the 2nd fret comment but had to reword it to: Capo 2nd fret... Inevitable... Capo on a higher fret and down tuning guitar to match the f#minor... Also inevitable Because it actually isn't on the 2nd fret, and I hate being wrong, but my perfect pitch tells me he is still playing it in the same original key lol
I have loved the sound of a guitar since I was about 10 years old. My Uncle used to play and I was always in awe of his skill. ❤ I like what you're playing. I have no idea what wonderwall is but I love this tune ❤
Ya know, different songs use the same chord progressions all the time? Thats the great thing about a chord porgression you just played, its not finished.
I’m a Brit and in the nineties if wonderwall came on the whole pub would sing this out who would have thought that years later it would become iconic amongst guitar players
