I'd watch sidelaning guide, easily the thing I struggle with the most. Constant anxiety of my team getting into random fights and fear of getting collapsed on by 4 enemies makes me scared of sidelaning.
Amazing game for teaching how to carry with Ori. I liked that it wasn't a free win, at all. A lot of small but crucial things you did, especially playing safe, prevented your team from throwing the game away. Their comp was terrible but I can see how easily your team's misread of the play after baron could've costed you the game. Honestly impressed, if a bit sad because I don't think I'll ever have enough awareness to make the right call almost every time like you do lol
How to decide when to hover and lose cs and be ready for any fight or go to side lane and gain/keep a lead while i’m not there to help. I understand with tp its easy peasy, but what if it’s on cooldown @Shok. What if I’m fed or even or behind
If it's on cooldown that's the first place to look, ideally try not to waste your TP and having it up is really important. If you do use it you probably have to group a bit more and wait until the wave comes close to your turret to go and get it. If you're fed you can spend a bit more time in side since even if your team fights you will be able to trade more gold (e.g. taking a T2 turret). If you're behind AND no TP you probably want to only go side to collect waves on your turret.
Hey, I'm new to your channel, and I saw your fundamental videos, and I think they are really helpful, but can you do a video with a champion like Katarina that has a hard time farming during lane and focuses on preserving health and roaming since a lot of picks bully her?
By default into dshield second wind users you take phase rush because poking them out with aery/comet is just too difficult. If I knew this Kassadin would have gone dring + ignite I definitely would have taken aery, but almost every melee plays sustain builds these days.
Red if I'm invading or roaming for kills. Or if enemy team are ahead and have control of the map. Then I can clear wards and make our jungle safe. OR if I'm playing a melee champ and want to use bushes to win 1v1 fights. Blue in all other scenarios. It's great when sidelaning to not get caught overextending. To stop teammates from getting caught all the time by spotting roaming opponents. To scout objectives when teammates aren't using their wards. Also i think that blue is better in low elo solo q because people place fewer and worse wards so you have less reason to go red for the ward clear. I'm low elo but noone else had answered and that's my take. Would love to hear other opinions.
I normally just stay on my yellow trinket until I either need blue trinkets to check baron or I feel strong enough on side that I can swap to red trinket without needing the extra vision from yellow trinkets
Hey, I just started to grind your videos, and have a question: to climbing from low elo, which would you pick: Syndra, Aurora, Orianna? I am currently playing Syndra and thinking about second champ, don’t want to go with 3 since it will be too hard to master at once (playing LoL a lot of years)
video about carrying in low elo and it's you vs a Dring no tp no resolve kass + your jungler actually doing things, kinda a bad example for melee i think i'd like to see how you do against like a fizz / yone / irelia for example. ( also why phase rush and not aery in this matchup if you qmax ? )
The matchup and lane went a lot better than expected but the fundamentals vs any snowball melee matchup should always be the same. Run phase rush so you can get out quickly and take basically 0 dmg if ur opponents try to trade with you, poke early to get early lane advantage bc those matchups u mentioned suck pre lvl 5, ward for potential ganks/roams, focus on cs and use your range so those champs can't just run you down, remember after 3+ items YOU outscale them, not the other way around, they can only snowball by getting kills so as long as you are even or ahead in cs YOU are winning and as long as you focus on csing your opponents will have a hard time roaming without missing cs. Those matchups you mentioned should never have an easy time killing you if you know how to space and slow push correctly, if they try to trade with you in laning phase you simply walk back and let them waste their abilities them poke them back with your Q and possibly W if you don't need it to catch up, this is also why T2 boots + lost chapter is so OP on mage vs melee. As long as you aren't braindead walking up to them for free Orianna will always have the advantage so it's just about making sure you have the items and xp to be able to turn that advantage into actual kill threat.
Here's an URTM vs Yone: ruclips.net/video/_LX62qxptlI/видео.html A good example vs Irelia: ruclips.net/video/AXVqsmiXTjY/видео.html Phase rush almost always into dshield second wind matchups, if I knew this guy would have no sustain runes I definitely would have taken Aery. Putting points in W this game was just an adaptation to him having no sustain.
Hi Shok! happy new year. Started playing league around 7ish month ago and already reached silver 3. I’ve been maining Ori, Ryze, Irelia and they have been shredding “low elo”. My question is for this game or just in general, would you ever build Liandry? More specifically even against Squishy champs/low health. I’ve been having much success with it aside from the regular build I go normally. Ludens, Shadow flame. But for side laning I’ve been having much success with liandry because it feels like I’m just shredding their health which in theory has more enemies come after me and allow my team to get more OBJS AND/OR have the enemy team recall more often making them miss minions + ep so little to no farm to buy their next items/spike. Just asking because I’ve played again other Oris and very rarely see Liandry, am I doing something wrong? I mean I’m still winning games though so it can’t be THAT bad right?
In general yes I go liandry quite often, it's basically never a bad item and it's a pretty good default if you're not sure what else to buy, I feel like I build it on Ori in maybe 30% of games or so?
Ulti CD obviously is nice, and I feel like malignance does more damage in teamfights (from MR shred and if you ult multiple targets its hard for them to avoid all the damage from it)
my issue is mid lane in general just feels shit. you can be a 4 item mage and die to a 2 item bruiser. it feel very difficult to snowball unless youre jg and support are good players as well, and even then if their top is fed you can do shit about it
plz jayce tank mid.. im enjoying a lot not be murdered and do the oposite. still trying to figure out how to deal build against ap but normal jayce is having so hard time still worth.

I swear everybody just starts inting when i go sidelane lol
It's common yeah, the enemy team will try force fights if you show on side, that's why you need TP up

Personally I'd choose Syndra Aurora, but it really doesn't matter too much. Go with what you enjoy
@ Thanks. After watching tons of content I went with Vex, Syndra and Yone. Btw any tips how to carry game where team has bad macro?
People told you they found it impossible to carry as Orianna? I find it very straightforward and fundamentals oriented.
Yep I get the common complaint that Orianna is too team reliant and does too little damage. I hear the same thing for Liss, Ahri etc
