This RTL is like discovering Metallica all over again. My cousin turned me on to Metallica 41 years ago when I was Five years old. I lost my cousin 8 months ago and wish like hell he could have heard this. Rest easy cousin Brian until we meet again Thanks for adding these songs to whoever did this RTL versions, means a lot to me. 🤘🏼
The legend returns with another one! Would love to see a video from you about the process that goes into making these, I feel like it's probably more time invested than the listeners realize - your ability to not only get the tone perfect but emulate the playing and composition of these guys is the best I've seen anywhere. Thank you for all your hard work!
Been listening to Sanitarium recently, and whether or not it was the boys themselves, the audio or live version, or a cover, it's gonna make me cry these days. This is gorgeous. 🧡💙
for the tuning alone, this thing is a million miles better than the original. also, the mixing is godlike!! i really love the almost F standard tuning in this, it feels like listening to it for the first time, very nostalgic
you cooked so hard with this. one small gripe I have with it is that there's a *tiny* bit too much reverb. other than that, you did a great job. will be listening to this often.
Unrelated, but I think if you made a video with all of your Chris Poland solo adaptations of other songs I would just listen to that on repeat. Such a meserizing sound that was too short on the original peace sells and you expanded it to other songs.
Amazing bro! Did you EQ the drums too? I like using EQ match for these things to make the MOP drums sound like the RTL drums. I hope you know what I mean. Works well with the voice too
There's no piano in the original. Before I learned to play the guitar, I thought the same, but it's not. It's palm muted guitar. It does sound very similar, specially with studio treatment. You can see how James does it in live performances.

All of the Metallica songs with the RLT. It’s like discovering Metallica all over again.

Sorry for your loss Michael
stay strong bro
I listened to this while driving home in a blizzard at night. Would recommend 11/10
Lol nice
I’d just listen to this whilst watching a blizzard.
That acoustic intro sounds so cool bro
This turned out better than I thought almost better than the original! Nice
Thanks!
I think so too it does sound heavier on some sections. The intro is different though but still good
I just can't get enough of your video. Like, everything you've done sounds INSANE - and you're giving us more. One of the coolest reworkers ever.
Thanks for watching!

@@ali965 Your welcome!!
Super sweet, some of your finest work yet.
Thanks man!
This needs to blow up! 🔥
I sometimes wonder how much better RTL/MoP/AJFA would sound with modern technology, this is as close to an answer as ill ever get. Nicely done.
Simply amazing
Thanks!
This is way better than the original. Ride The Lightning is my favorite tone
Subbed based o the minute or so Ive gotten through so far alone.. Cant wait to dive into the rest of your uploads..
Enjoy!
man, that tuning is MAJESTIC!

That’s a good idea!
AMAZING BROO!!!
Thanks!
Amazing bro! Did you EQ the drums too? I like using EQ match for these things to make the MOP drums sound like the RTL drums. I hope you know what I mean. Works well with the voice too
Thanks man! I didn’t use any EQ actually, cause the drum sound of both albums are very similar. I just added some room reverb. Love your videos btw!
@@ali965 Thanks! i never comment but I´m subscribed and I watch all your videos
@@matiasborda5806 Much love bro!
Damn, the guitars are brutal. Love it
Really good job keep playing dude!!!!!
Nice
You should do this with black album tone
Bro keep making more can you please do rattle head with peace sells tone
I got something even better😎
@@ali965 HELL YEAH
Even better!
The clean riff in the beginning sounds like Dave Mustaine riff from A Tout Le Monde SFSGSW version
finally
Please make james voice actually rtl
The 12 string slaps
This almost sounds like it’s off so far so good so what or youthanasia
@ali965, Which guitar tuning did you use while making this video??
A=453 Hz
@@ali965
"For Whom The Bell Tolls" Tuning Frequency?
that's cool, but it doesn't feel the same without the piano in the intro. weaker somehow :/
Fair enough
Damn i actually liked the harp tho, piano is nice but this a whole different feel. Super good!
@@Pjbro Thanks man! Not a harp tho. It’s a 12 string guitar

Actually I think it's better without the piano 😁 but the intro and clean riff part have Dave vibes in this one
