Chips looks good, the fish looks tasty. I prefer mushy peas with my Fish and chips we thought about doing a papas big banquet fish video although we have done review did review there a couple of weeks ago but for the banquet we’d have other RUclipsrs joining us.

Looks lovely Jane. Nice place (or should that be plaice!) too, will have to try it. I almost needed oxygen at beergate! I'm not a lager fan, but would love to try Guinness zero. I could survive on garden peas, sprouts and asparagus. Not a good idea when you're sleeping next to your betrothed!
I like lager but not the woozy feeling that comes with it! If you lived on veg you could float away on your own cloud...

Hi Jane, fish and chips and peas meal looked delicious, where I live for takeaway for the same would be at least £12 so that price for eating in was not much dearer and it did look so much nicer 😊

Hi Jane, my wife have just had a lovely but very windy and damp bank holiday weekend in Blackpool and found a fantastic chippy opposite coral island called "Meat and Plaice" where the service and food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Why not give it a try and do a video on it?
Them chips looked more like giant wedges lol. I don't mind paying more if it's good quality. Fish wise, was it Cod or Haddock?

Evenin Starbucks a no no from me I always try and keep to the independents wow that’s massive for a little one like you 😊😂😂 what a mess with the drink 😂 my mouth is watering just lookin at it😂 £16.50 just choked on my fishfinger sandwich Crickey that’s a tad expensive but you pay for what you get I truly never thought you would eat it all well done till the next one 😊

No salt for me but do like vinegar on chips not on fish though, just tartate sauce , and very nice surroundings to boot !! 😊

Instead of a these increasingly posh new places you keep visiting, why not try a traditional, decades long established, sensibly priced cafe/restaurant/takeaway like Woodheads (behind the Velvet Coaster). Always get a good value and a quality meal in there. Thanks.
It's just coincidence that I've been to a few new ones on the trot - I've also been to plenty of ordinary places too.

I love your Food Friday reviews Jane, but personally I wouldn't have given them a 10. I mean, not the peas as stated on the menu, no vinegar offered, lime for a fish, plus the price. It was £16.50 then maybe £3.50 for the drink. Most people would be dining as a couple, so £40 for that lunch 😬. Nope.
