Here’s one for you I got this turbo chef blowing control boards left and right. Called tech support plenty of times. Each time different and replaced what they said but still blowing the I/o board. Heats up to 500 ready to cook as soon as you push to cook something the screen goes blank and flickers an then the control board relay blows it’s the yellow board con 3019. Have you come across something like this let me know
@christopheralvarado351 Wow! That is a great one and no I have never run across that. I am not sure what model oven it is but I am assuming its a Bullet model or an Encore model, and I am not sure what part they had you replace but from your description of how its blowing the board it sounds like there is a short in the touchpad or the display board. If you can get back to me and let me know the model of the oven , then I can probably help figure out whats causing that board to blow like that. I got a turbochef when only cooking the chicken wings the cook time is 4:48. But it stops cooking only after about 1 minute and says cooking time is finished. I replaced both RTD probs & the main board. The magnetron & both upper & lower heating elements all checked out fine when amp checking them. There are no error codes stored. I then changed 1 magnetron & 1 diode. Still the same issue. This is only when cooking the chicken wings. The menu also has been updated. Any idea what can be the issue????? S.O.S
@Joelbri2006 After seeing everything you have checked and replaced I can only think that there must be an issue in the firmware menu, because its only doing this with one item. I would check with tech support to see if they can confirm that because I really can think of anything else. Keep me posted on the out if you don't mind.
@latcommercialrepair i need to correct myself. I replaced the upper & lower temperature probes not the heating elements. My bad, long story short. Tech support was bamboozled by this as well. They were the ones who suggested replacing the main board & probes. Now they want me to replace the touch pad. But at this point the customer went ahead & approved the replacement of the unit at this time. Tech support also stated they have been getting a lot of calls like this where the chicken just stops cooking 🤷♂️. I thought i would let you know👍👍
@Joelbri2006 Hey thats good information, and it is probably best they replace the unit because it seems like there is a issue with the program . Let me know if this is a 7-Eleven ?

@ it’s and encore 2 model. The newer model but with the glass relays on the right side of the unit.

What indication did you get to need to replace it? That would be helpful to know.
@dmsampson This was diagnosed by a different service provider but mainly there was a direct short to ground through the relay board.

@@Alejaja97 For your amp test I look for between 14 to 16 amps. Each side should give between 7 to 8 amps independently.
