    To be honest, I miss the tone and hud of tekken 4. Probably nostalgia, but the music felt eerie at times I like how the stages were everyday places and not entirely flat.

    • @johnnykame
      @johnnykame 5 лет назад +97

      Honestly, Tekken 4 was the only installation of this franchise that actually lived up to the whole "King of the Iron Fist tournament" angle. The stories felt cinematic yet real at the same time. Tekken 4 was a really great continuation of the Tekken Saga but I also like to look at it as a great stand alone game.

    • @thehumandirigible4882
      @thehumandirigible4882 3 года назад +39

      I also miss the days when all Tekken characters (besides maybe Panda or Kuma) had a more serious in tone, almost somewhat tangible or realistic backstory or personality, instead of "anyone not directly invovled with the Mishimas is basically a stupid idiot clumsy goofball".
      Paul's backstory was great, for example. How he won the tournament, binged for a while on the wealth, then decided, "Nah, that ain't me." and rode off on his motorcycle. Bad ass biker guy. Now all we get is a pseudo-roided out nutjob tinfoil-hatting and only ever wants to prove how he's the strongest man on the planet.
      Tekken 4 was my favorite entry into the Tekken franchise, even if it was somewhat imbalanced or broken. It was still a great game with an engaging story and amazing music.

      well i might be late but here‘s the thing
      the double tackle is a reversal from tackle that can be executed right after you miss the break on the tackle but before you hit the ground you press 1+2.
      heihachi‘s is quite simple to explain.
      jin executed a springkick and at the exact same time heihachi pressed his parry which was b2+4 if i remember correctly

      I agree with you. Especially due to the fact that the Tekken Series adds more dynamic gameplay because you can move around & sidestep in a 3D arena, and not just stay on a boring ass 2D plane jumping all over the place like the Street Fighter Series. Despite that, I still like the Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros., & Mortal Kombat fighting game series (ESPECIALLY Smash Bros.,) but The Tekken Series will always remain as my most favorite fighting game series to play. A good, funny (& tragic) story, fun & innovative gameplay, and really good music that gets me going. Tekken is the best!

    • @Shyuthros
      @Shyuthros 6 лет назад

      ultra instinct is a handicap. it's not a reflection of one's actual capabilities.

    • @steezharvey830
      @steezharvey830 6 лет назад +7

      Nædrin what are you talking about? Ultra Instict is full potential.

    • @enz_0433
      @enz_0433 6 лет назад

      Steez Harvey indeed it is full potential.

    • @Shyuthros
      @Shyuthros 6 лет назад

      so you're saying it's like a boost to your peak potential?
      it's still a handicap, then because you only achieve it as long as you sustain the boost.

    • @steezharvey830
      @steezharvey830 6 лет назад +5

      Nædrin it’s not a boost. It’s your full potential realized. It’s you without limitations of the mind, at absolute 100% of your ability, hence the name Ultra Instinct. The only drawback that we’ve seen this far is the physical toll of prolonged use. I can only assume that since it’s an instinct, when the mind isn’t in play, the pain factor disappears for the duration.

      Ya its just heihachi's b1+3 / b 2+4.
      Its a gimmick mostly because it deals like 3x more damage to urself than the enemy. But good thing is that it can reverse some pretty crazy shit that you dont expect to get reversed. I use it when i hav ton of health and the enemy just needs one more poke. Its got a pretty good window of activeness.

      I don’t doubt because of all his hatred building up for his family, namely Kaz has toughened the hell out of him, i could just imagine Kazuya being the greater threat because of his experience with Devil, and his prowess with the Mishima style period
