Black Hills Central Railroad 108: Steaming in the Black Hills

Black Hills Central Railroad 108 is the newest addition to the Black Hills roster. Added to the collection in January of 2016, it emerged from a 4 year restoration in March of 2020 and made its first revenue run in early June of 2020. Join us both on board and trackside to witness some of the only 108 footage there is so far!

Thanks Ty! I’ve been planning that since the trip in July! Too bad I couldn’t get it to 1:08:00, but 10-8 is close enough. Don’t be surprised if there is another 108 video popping up on January 8 (1-08) but I can neither confirm nor deny what that day will bring 😉 👀

Thanks dude! I really appreciate it. Yes they are! It is the 60th anniversary of steam. 90 will be in the egg paint scheme with the white trim and it is unknown what 89 will be in. Supposedly, 89 was originally said to have the high mounted headlight, white trim and egg logo from the 70s however i do not know if that’s still the plan, I sure hope so, and yes, I will be there!
