Kelley's Island State Park Campground Tour and the Secret Beach!

- Campin With the Confers continues our adventures on Kelley's Island, OH. Despite the smoke from the Canada Wildfires and getting caught in a storm, we enjoyed hiking where we come across a bald eagle nest with three eagles. We checked out the winery and a couple of other hot spots on the island and discovered the secret beach and share it with you! We really enjoyed our time on Ohio's Island paradise! Be sure to come back next week for our favorite part of the trip and quick tour of Put In Bay.

The tent only sites by the water and the yurts are great sites right by the beach. The view is amazing. We are tent year round so never came up for us. Enjoying the videos on the Ohio Parks. Good stuff.

Great video it was great showing so much of the campground I love when people include the site numbers it's very helpful looks like a great place. It was so cute when u found the little frog and pointed at it that really showed how little it was. I agree sometime a girl has ro have bread!! So one year I got Ron some good binoculars and he would forget them every single hike then whe. He finally remembered them he never took them out of the back pack the whole time. Also we didn't use them in Alaska that was crazy! Hahaha! OK those little beers were so cute and that trail looked amazing!! Snakes hate them we were just in a lake and I think I saw one swimming ugh!! You have me intrigued island sounds like fun!! What a storm oh boy !! What no cocktail making at least you had wine and beer!
We forgot the binoculars again this weekend! I told Mike we need to get a compact nice pair that just lives in the backpack, but I bet I would forget to get them out too. Lol. As always, thanks for the support!

Stayed there September of 2021. Enjoyed hiking and trying out all of the restaurants.

All these years I’ve lived in Ohio and I can’t believe it took this long to get there. We will definitely be back! Thanks for commenting and watching!
On weekends in the summer, boats will come into the North Bay and anchor for the weekend. It used to get packed with boats on weekends. Erie weather is no joke! I’ve been out on it when it snapped, and the weather went from nice and sunny to evil and twisted in a matter of minutes.
Did you folks happen to go to the Schelee Preserve? There’s a fantastic scenic beach there that could pass for the Bahamas when the lake hadn’t been stirred up.

We are going in October in the full hookup area. We found the secret beach last year. We are planning on getting a golf cart. Nice video friends!
A golf cart would be fun there. Not as crazy as PIB. I’m sure it will be pretty in October. Hopefully you do a video on it so we can check it out!
