Crafting Carry-alls are especially useful for any crafters that work with metals since it lets you pool all your various skarns and ores then move them through shared storage from your weaponsmith to your metalsmith to your jeweler.
Minas Morgul Ultimate comes with a large and small Crafting Carry All. This isn't listed on the store. Have no idea why. The Collectors Edition comes with a small Crafting Carry All.
Not bad, main thing for me are the Carry-Alls. Already have the fan bundle for all expansions, so it doesn't apply, but if you're looking for the bonuses with the earlier expansions, it's a pretty decent discount. Not super exciting but at least it's something reasonable to spend my points on. I'll likely grab myself 2 or 3 Carry-Alls. The rest is not quite appealing but perhaps for other folks. I agree that Valar boosts are kind of a negative if you're a new player - absolutely level up your first or even second character naturally and enjoy the earlier zones, learn your class and set yourself up for more success. Great video as always Louey!
Thank you for breaking this down as it's quite helpful. I'm not terribly into doing "end game" content so I'm not too interested in the Valar level ups. For my money, I spend most of my points on storage and mithril - which I mostly use to get back to the quest givers quickly xD Though, I think the best thing to buy is VIP - being defeated doesn't degrade your weapons and you can access the shop to sell junk from anywhere which is worth it. No other game is offering that for their sub.
The minas morgul ultimate is by far the best value here. New player here and I'm very happy with the purchase. Cool cosmetics for every character (2x armor sets, 2x mounts and 2 pets and title) in addition to a large+small crafting carry all which almost reaches the coin value of the entire pack in themselves. Oh and the enduring universal toolkit is amazing for a new player that's gathering everything on sight like me!
With all the vocation issues coming up, 38 for a universal toolkit is just 3 slayer deeds - go to a starter zone, do 3 easy ones, grab a kit. done. another useful vid 😁
Ultimate mm edition for 17€ is so awesome! Was so happy when i saw it, i already have every expansion but i really wanted the clothing and weapon aura, the included carry ons were an amazing surprise :D
I bought all the available expansions last year because I thought they'd remove them without warning from the LOTRO market like they did with Mordor. I have yet to actually get to any of that content yet though, so there's a bunch of money well spent... It's really frustrating that they remove the ability to buy old expansions. Even if some of the content is outdated or included with VIP, it would still be nice to get the bonus goodies with packs like Mordor Ultimate Fan Bundle.
Once you get to having to use LP for vault expansions, the carry-alls are a better deal. For the healer carry-all, I use one in my shared storage. Makes it easy to store potions for a lot of levels of alts while freeing up shared storage space. Lastly, another benefit of carry-alls is no max stack size. So, for example, 3000 wood would only take one slot instead of 6x500.
Hello! I am a brand new player for lotro and I've been loving your content! I don't know if you are on the lookout for requests, but as a new player i find it difficult to understand the expansions. Any chance you could make a video explaining them? Which cap level they unlock, zones, advantages, etc?
This video might cover what you need! ruclips.net/video/aZNmG4Na9MQ/видео.html Maybe doesn't have all the details, but I could consider one focused on buyable expansions (i.e., Mordor, Minas Morgul, W3P, Gundabad, BTS, Umbar)
I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you had suggestions for a new player who wants to hop into PVMP. When I went there with my level 22 the scaling was really bad. Do I need better gear first?
If they expect people to purchase expansions they really need to get a grip on presenting to the user what expansions you own at what level...only game I know that is that broken on something so basic.
I have been searching my email for the last 20 minutes trying to figure out which expansions I've purchased. It's a nightmare. I don't get why they can't just tell me. They have purchase history for the in-game store, but I guess not for the market.
All microtransaction games always over price themselves. I'm on a tight budget and I am not going to pay ~$3.71 to expand my backpack 5 slots, so I will likely never spend a dime in the shop. Now if I could get those same 5 slots for say under $1, then I'd likely end up spending far more than $5 to expand my inventory. You make money through volume, not single unit sales. Maybe the monthly sub is the way to go, not sure, haven't done the math yet.
They're kinda meh, was hoping for a 40-50% in gundabad expa or/and the valars, the only tempting is the enduring universal tool at 140LP, but i wanna save for the Mariner in april hehe
You say it comes with VIP - but I think you muddle the fact that the ultimate fan bundles or any fan bundles don't come with VIP - just the base comes with it.

Thanks for this video! The Carryalls are critical!
remember when carry-alls were 75% off a couple years ago during the summer.... i miss that week!
I went crazy and bought a bunch of them during that sale, was worth every penny. Being an "altoholic" I use them all! 🤣🤣🤣
I picked up a fourth crafting carry all, three wasn't enough...
Very informative, many new plyers where wondering what to spend it on, general recommendation in game is the carry all craft thank you for the video

True. Especially when you think that the rest of us morons paid 130 for it.
The large carry-all I think is a necessity for the cook profession. Lots of items from the farmer needed just to make stuff.
We can expect a sale on Before the Shadow in the Winter Sales, which will come very soon.
wish that sales were timed with the boot of the legendary servers
Thanks for the analysis.
You can get Gondor Renewed for the price of one of those Carry-Alls
Thank you for this! This was definitely informative!
Eh i might get some lotro points but was hoping for a code or at least discount on quest packs or vip.

Very enjoyable and informative, thanks Louey!

Lotro store only shows the steeds. I cannot find any carry-alls or any other specials for that matter...

I bought some universal toolkits for my alts, at 75% discount, heck yeah!

I use Valor to get past the dreadfull Rohan mounted combat.
