To be honest Wolfenstein The Old Blood is almost the remake of Return to Castle Wolfenstein as it probably should have looked back in 2001 but for technical and graphical limitations of the ID Tech 3 engine & processing power available at that time, while it has been over 20 years since I played Return to Castle Wolfenstein, I do remember it looking far better than this remastered gameplay as some others have already commented, this looks absolutely dreadful, with the aspect ratio @ 4:3 looks like this was just taken from a PS2 or even original Xbox.
Id like to see a remake for pc that includes the prequel chapters and the new entities like dogs/x-sheperds from the console version. So far only Realrtcw achive the entities import. We're still to get the missing chapter
Tides of War was a port from the id Tech engine to Xbox engine (don't know which one). So I don't think it's possible to bring the content you're talking about back to Windows without creating it from the beginning
these animations look jarring and robotic, which is strange given that bethesda is a large company, even then i presume, and valve, a tiny ass company produces half life 1998
I've played through the original RTCW multiple times and this HD looks incredible. I like that they've added blood... I like how blood stains are left on the doors and the ground...
This switching weapon thing is like trying to say you like eating something but just shoving it all in your mouth. Destroys immersion.
Back in the day I lived in this game lol
If it's a "remake", why is it still in 4:3?
You mean "demake" surely?
It still uses Unreal Engine 3, like original RtCW
With all respect, but original graphic is much better
thats incredible remake, i love these sounds
sounds from cod1/2...
I like dynamic shadows, but thats all
are those cod 1 weapon sounds?
Yeah. I noticed that too. FG-42 sound is from CoD 1, Thompson sound is from CoD 2
@@dubium3380 glad i wasnt the only one who heard it, i thought i lost my shit lol
