- An animation based on Pale White Horse AU - 3rd life au where Scar dies early and Grian joins Dogwarts to avenge him.
After almost three months of work this beast of a project is done! Huge HUGE thank you to the Hermbi discord server, especially to Luna (lunarblazes), Ryan (ahalliance), Satan (lioncrown), Crew (aeolidi) and Lanie (laniebugged) who were writing this au with me since day one (find them on tumblr or twitter). Also thank you to the Brainrot Hours discord who had to suffer watching me stream working on this animation for weeks.

THIS STUNNING OMG??? The lighting and the subtle movements are just SOOO impressive, I don't even know where to begin, this is just a pure masterpiece !!!
Oh my goodness! Does that ending mean Grian still ends up jumping from Monopoly Mountain, causing Martyn to win 3rd Life? That's super interesting! Especially when you know Martyn was thinking of betraying Ren himself if it was just the two of them at the end. But having him get revenge for Ren by killing Grian when Martyn originally tried to get revenge by killing Scar for killing Ren in 3rd Life is a really cool parallel!

yep! we actually joked that martyn being devastated is the most unrealistic aspect of the au and irl he would be mad he couldnt kill ren pfft

Well, he was thinking of betraying him, yet was so devastated when Ren died in front of him that it caused a shard to appear on Martyn's cheek from the tear he had shed. Such an odd man Lol
Hmm... I wonder if the shard still appears on his cheek in this au, even though he won...
@@LunaTiger95 ohhhh a very interesting thought, there would be a lot of changes to the watcher lore in general probably since he won the first one

THIS IS AMAZING!! Your painting is wonderful, and the story itself is so good. the colors too???? lovely! but im insane over the end... with the grian and martyn hug with a stab wound in grian's back... then grian walking away and _apparently jumping off of the cliff that he does in 3rd???_ like. oh my god im going insane. he brought pain and sorrow to martyn in revenge for the loss of scar, and as such he gave martyn back the only thing he could... the victory.... they quite literally never left the desert, and martyn could never be rid of the crown...

HOLY CRAP I was breath taken from the very beginning! I let out an audible "Oh my god" of excitement when Grian glanced at Martyn and Scar's smile with a mirroring expression appeared. I LOVE IT. Him getting close with the dog warts people and then taking revenge omg!! I didn't expect to grow so attached to Grian and Martyn in this AU, lol. The little moments of Grian's wings, cloak, and Marty's band are awesome, stunning work! I'll be rewatching this one, the art work is inspiring and I adore this AU so much. Desert duo is everything to me

THE SWORDS. THE SWORDS !!!! 1:58 THEY'RE BLACK, ARE THEY *THE* NETHERITE SWORDS ??? DID MARTYN LOOT SCAR'S ????? HOW TRAGIC IS THAT !! ALSO !!!! 0:51 MARTYN USING A DOGWARTS FLAG AS A SUPPORT BLANKET !!!! AND GRIAN KEEPING IT FOR THE REST OF THE ANIMATIC !!!!!!!!! Omg, this. I am so normal about this. Not only did these details make me go insane but each scene is so BEAUTIFUL ! 3:16 This !! This frame specifically !! You can so clearly see how much love went into it, ahhh !!! I've only heard about this AU in passing before so viewing this as an introduction to it gave it SO MUCH JUSTICE, amazing ! In love ! The frame with Grian having got his revenge had me so excited too !! What splendid work !! :DDD

Martyn looking at Grian and seeing the echo of Scar in the look in his eyes? knowing the wrath of the desert still hasn't finished, because as long as either Scar or Grian is alive their wrath will continue?? Grian standing still and letting Martyn kill him knowing he's done all he can to avenge Scar??? returning to the desert to die a final time???? dude. I am like actually in love with this
Do you know how confused I was witnessing this for the first time not noticing AU in the title? Martyn handing the cloak to G, odd, oh the flashback to him and BigB eating cookies, makes sense, former allies and what not. He joined Dogwarts?? It only made sense after I read the description! I'm an idiot aren't I? XD Then I got to rewatch and truly get to witness the magestics of this animatic. Seriously, WOW, just WOW! The scenery, the angst, the "lost love" as Scar said in G's oddible podcast. You've done a tremendous job and I hope every single life member gets to watch this too because it is awesome!
Ok, so- i found this and was like, "Omg, this is amazing?" But i hadnt read the fic so i was so confused so I went and read it and came back and it is 10x better. But even without context i could read what was happening so well. You did an amazing job with this. ❤

THIS IS GOOD
WOW!!!! This is my absolute favourite life series animation. Everything about this is just beautiful, the way you use colours and lighting is just absolutely gorgeous, and I love designs for the medieval/fantasy-esque outfits that everyone is wearing. I could praise this masterpiece for hours!!

Outstanding, amazing, we love to see it! I got actual chills while watching it :0 also seeing Grian with dogwarts the only thing I was thinking was “they don’t know.. they don’t know..” like I was just sat there waiting for that betrayal. And the pay off was incredible

Oh my GOD I wish I had found this sooner!! I got huge chills when it switched from the timelapse to that first frame with Grian, and the whole rest of the video gasping and gawking at the absolute gorgeous artwork displayed here. The story telling was so clear and so impactful, I was hooked the entire time. God this is an amazing video. Fantastic work!

The "With a Crooked Smile" scene?? You can so clearly see that Grian is smiling even without seeing his mouth because of how you echoed Scar and WOWWWWWWWW I CAN'TTT!!
I need more of this AU. I adore that it seems to be Martyn and Grian centric, I think they have such a unique relationship and it's a shame there isn't more works focused on them.

This is stunning. Your style and the level of detail has grown so much, it's stunning to look at. The tweening and constant motion blew me away. I love the moment of Grian dying and being comforted by his new allies and how it contrasts to him killing Ren. The beginning with Scar's death is AMAZING. Love your work!!

I was trying to understand it as the canon events first, but when I read the description, I fell absolutely in love with your AU idea. I have watched this multiple times now and I still can't get over how beautiful this is. First of all, the style is gorgeous, but the colours? I just cannot understand how you did this with the colours. The interplay of colouring and lighting is genius and beyond my comprehension. I am in love with those colours.
