Hey man! Just wanted to say that I love your channel and I’m excited for your new songs! You are extremely talented in so many ways. Singing, drawing, etc. Your channel is one of my go-to channels when I’m down. Even though I’ve watched pretty much all of your animations, they still bring me a smile, like a true smile. great video dog, loved the animation, story telling, the little additions like sound effects and crayon style backgrounds and simple yet cartoony designs for things were a super nice touch and it worked really well, glad to see you going back to your roots
My uncle is a electrician, when I visited him down south he personally told me how to tell a good one from a bad one. He even sat me down an showed me how to put in a light switch. (Though my dad was far more comfortable doing it himself he knows how to do it too) however both told me one specific thing. ‘Don’t let them bully you, if you don’t feel comfortable about doing something KICK THEIR ASSES OUT’ he told me they NEVER should put a single hole in the wall, especially that big! More than likely it actually would do something. I work in retail (not the same field I know but hear me out) you’d be surprised the level to which higher-ups care about reviews, they go out of their way to make sure that their reviews are all as positive as possible. So when we get a bad review (if you have a store you like, anything less than a 8 out of 10 doesn’t actually do a lot for our numbers) they will make damn sure that gets corrected, depending on what the review is about.

As a guy who does home repairs, that sounds unbelievable. Depending on if you have slab foundation, it would easier to run wiring in the ceiling. Crawl space foundation, it would easier to go through the floor. As far as the 19 holes look up drywall videos and painting videos.
I love looking back at adams older videos and seeing how much his style has evolved, and how much care and effort he puts into every video, you are a legend 👍🏻😊
Pretty sure you can take that straight to the company and complain. Most states have laws requiring the utility to repair any unnecessary/excessive damage they have caused.
Hey Adam, I just found you're channel right now after allmost what felt like years! I remember watching you back then, and you carried out half of my childhood and you maked me smile when i was feeling down. Thanks :D
Had a similar thing happen to me. Guy drilled two hand sized holes in my wall, one on top of the other, said he'd be back to fix it, and then just dipped and never came back. The holes were in a place where I couldn't cover them with anything, so I just lived with a snowman shaped hole in my wall, for years, until I moved and called my brother to come patch it.
To be fair it's kind of impossible to trace a cable through walls without making a whole through them unless a structure has been established when the house was built with that purpose. There is no god, disgrace, or magical bs that justifies making *19* holes onto walls
That's why he said don't put 13 holes into his walls. Pretty sure he would be fine with 1 or 2 holes just to get the cable into the next room but.. GOD DAMN 19 HOLES?!?! AND IN COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE HOUSE TOO?! I'd be pissed too, like wtf?? Idk what was going through that electrician's mind. I wonder if he took any legal action?
I had my entire 1900s house rewired. They made 2 small holes they patched. Not 19 huge square cavities. Id have taken him to small claims court just to waste his time and money
personally for an idea of mine, if it was the next room over, then he could drill/cut out a small hole in the wall at bottom of it, just enough for the cords, and basically have the office have the router right next to him yknow- i dont know electrician stuff tho
@@thatchaoticspirit9806 i have a friend who did exactly this, but the cable had to go from the entrance of the chalet to his bedroom. I’m back after so many years I used to watch your videos all the time so it was a giant dose of nostalgia I wanna thank you for entertaining me throughout my childhood ❤
0:08 Sounds similar to what my parents did when we first got a new house, we moved in and it needed some basic repairs, some touch ups, that's about it, it was in pretty good condition, however the end result of this, was a bunch of holes in the ceiling, cracks in the walls, ect. (When i say cracks in the walls i dont mean the usual stuff that houses get for no reason after a while, i mean BIG cracks.)
Adam I can understand where you’re coming from I understand how overwhelmed you can be and trust me I can understand how overwhelming it can be and I like to say that your RUclips channel helped me out so much so I’d like to say thank you
His voice is full of pain and despair during this video. (Edit: during certain parts.) Can we respect the fact that he saw all these holes in his walls and just thought, “this will be a great video!” ?
"what a beautiful house you have, i especially love what you have done with the picture frames and all. oh, this one is my favorite. please, tell me, what inspired you to put it on the ceiling?"
I'm surprised that they didn't recommend something like a powerline ethernet adapter. (basically allows you to hook up internet from one outlet to another outlet)
I was thinking the exact same thing! And if there needed to be holes, the guy could've just installed Ethernet jacks into the walls, the way we have at my house.
Which may be an issue if the garage is on a different circuit than the room next to it or has GFCIs in place. You'd also need an access point on the other end outside the garage in addition to the power line adapter in case it doesn't come with its own WiFi radio since you can't powerline DSL or Coax signals. Also, power line adapters typically just... suck.
Yeah a similar thing happened to me. Before my family moved into a new house, we hired these painters to paint the walls so they would be in prestige condition when we got there. We gave them a week to do it before we came down. By the time we got there they were still working on it. So we waited another hour and they were finally finished. But when we came inside. There was paint everywhere. It was on the carpet, on doorknobs, on the freaking windows, doorways, everywhere. We had to hire another group of guys to clean up the mess.
ive put multiple wholes in walls as someone with anger issues but ive figured a good method, 1 buy dry wall patching to seal the hole. 2 get paint thats kinda close to the same color and paint the patching. DONE
Your honesty my favourite animator Adam! :) You have great humour, entertaining stories and a fun and engaging way of telling them! I genuinely am so happy whenever I see that you’ve uploaded, your amazing! :D RIP your walls though😔
I'm an IT student who's currently going through their cabling certification and has hooked up routers before. Knowing how to do this, and that no holes are required unless requested... There's a possibility to sue this guy for damages. Just saying. But do take with a grain of salt, I'm just a student who's not yet certified. UPDATE: I got my certification! And my statement still stands.

I was going to suggest a white water proof sealant from Home Depot that i use to plug up unnecessary drill holes in my walls . . . . .but DAMN! The squares he carved into your ceiling / walls . . .. . . are just madness. I want that electrician to make a video explaining what he was doing.

One time my dad hired a Plummer, and they basically ripped up our back yard…and left. No- No actual work on the plumbing They ripped it up Looked at it And left.

Adam: "Don't put 13 holes in my walls" Electrician: "Phfft, Don't be absurd. I shall go beyond expectations and blow your mind with *19* holes!!!" Adam: "What-" Electrician: "What?"
From the perspective of a 'professional' you never really feel that way, when You're a kid it seems that all the adults know what they're doing when you're an adult you realize no one has a clue.
Yeah... This year my parents desided to do a renovation of the house. Doorframes now have nails, I had to beg to repaint my selling, after 2 of their mistakes and in one room they completely did not prepare walls before putting our expensive wallpapers on. And we did not notice most of these mistakes only because there were so many other mistakes that we did notice and beged them to fix, which they made, that we were exausted to notice these ones, as we just wanted that hell to end.
Adam I want to thank you because you have been an inspiration for me and I remember when the song “I’m something else” first released so thank you for being a good support system for me. It's ok if you're not fine, we won't judge.
God i love this SomeThingElseYT content, thanks Adam, you've brightned up my day. Happy to see some storytelling on your channel once again
Same!!! Back to great storytimes and a very very incredible animation style! :)
Also, power line adapters typically just... suck.
I didn’t laugh once but I still got so much friggin serotonin and joy from watching this, Adam you the bomb man
Thank you?
uh.. what?
FRIGGIN SEROTONIN.

Adam has never failed to make me laugh when I’m having a bad day !
Oh no that sounds like a nightmare D:
Obviously the two groups were in cahoots
Sounds like they're apartment painters cause man can those guys get paint in places it should not be in!
Ah yes, the landlord special.
Did you call a complaint?
ive put multiple wholes in walls as someone with anger issues but ive figured a good method, 1 buy dry wall patching to seal the hole. 2 get paint thats kinda close to the same color and paint the patching. DONE
The beginning was just crazy
This new artstyle, I dunno why, but just fits the "Something Else" aesthetic of this channel. Really like it.
The style is basicly his storyboard artists style so if you like it thanks Squizzy
The hell?! I was expecting like... drill holes. That dude was making entire vents in your walls!!? There's people living in those, man!!

Your honesty my favourite animator Adam! :) You have great humour, entertaining stories and a fun and engaging way of telling them! I genuinely am so happy whenever I see that you’ve uploaded, your amazing! :D
RIP your walls though😔
This hits really close to home as someone who lives in a old home
damn hope things get better for you man also happy birthday :D hope you get your house fixed
Wow my day was crap now its so good let's agree that he can make anyone's day better thanks Adam for uploading!
Adam's uploads always make me smile! :)
Bro! The expressions! I’m jealous of your power.
Adam pleading with Davie while he slowly blows up his home is just priceless.
4:37 🤣 my favorite part
2:17 why is the wifi guys thinking pose so cute in that part??
Awe the art is super adorable as usual, Mr. Adam!
And. . .uh. . .dang, sorry about you home-- It'll get fixed soon, I'm sure. ✌🏻😊
Can't wait to see you at VidCon!!!
I love what ya do! Youre super funny and they way you tell your stories is hilarious to me. 😂🌹🖤
Yes!! The new art style is very fun! :) I think I might prefer the old one better, but this one is still incredible!
Adam is my biggest inspiration when it comes to animation style for sure!!
Ew
Wonderful as always! Really enjoying the content you and Squizzy are making together, your humor and animation style meshes beautifully! :)
squizzy 😭
Hey you know, I don't watch you much anymore but I did really enjoy your videos. Your animation blew me away, it's gotten so much better from where it was and even then it was incredible. I'm proud of you dude, keep it up!
Adam literally is amazing at telling stories- like I don’t know how he does it
Oh no poor Adam! I'm so sorry!! I hope that everything gets fixed and that you're happy with your house now!!
I bet squizzy had a fun time sketching out what a home would look like with 19 holes
I was going to suggest a white water proof sealant from Home Depot that i use to plug up unnecessary drill holes in my walls . . . . .but DAMN!
The squares he carved into your ceiling / walls . . .. . . are just madness. I want that electrician to make a video explaining what he was doing.
Adam always makes me laugh. I appreciate all his hardwork.

I really adore you Adam- Just so so much! You inspire me to do art and practice animating, and you're just so funny! I really really just wanna let you know make my day! 😄
I love how u made this guy even more hittable by dressing him up like a minion
I'm so glad I live in germany, the walls here are so steady that noone would want to do the work of making more holes than necessary.
I thought those holes were gonna be small drill holes but he literally carved the *biggest* holes I’ve *ever* seen!
I appreciate how your voice sounds like how you would actually talk. Not a fake 'youtube voice.' Somehow I only just now stumbled on your channel. You and I have about the same number of subscribers, we should do a collab sometime. My 4 million fans would get a kick out of it.
You have 18k subs. What are you dreaming.
Dude...
They way he walked in😂😂😂😭😭😭 0:26
One time my dad hired a Plummer, and they basically ripped up our back yard…and left.
No-
No actual work on the plumbing
They ripped it up
Looked at it
And left.
2:42 I love the reference to Mama Seeks here!
Electrician: hippity hee now your house looks like cheese
Adam : ...
Smacks him across the universe
I love how he kept specifying the exact number of holes because that's how frustrated he was
Oh my gosh I am so happy, 11 seconds in and I'm already curious about what you've made for us to watch this time 😂
I’m happy you make content because damn your relatable.thanks to you James and the girl I have been inspired to make one of these when I’m older

lol I bought the common sense blankie the other week and it is a m a z i n g.
How do animators manage to have the most interesting and wacky lives possible, to get so many stories out of it Is amazing
damn i haven’t watched you in years and your animation has gotten so much better!!
Ok but imagine Adam just mindlessly watching tv while this guy was putting 19 holes in his house- (no but seriously sorry this happened to you and hopefully you’re able to fix it in the near future)
Hey Adam! Just wanted to say I've watched your channel for many years now and I love your content. You raised me and made me feel better at my worst and always brought me to my best. You've helped me through alot and I adore your content, attitude, and just everything. You're awesome, keep up the good work man
3:57 ow, paper cut
I didn’t even see that lol
Certified MAGENTA moment right here.
Adam: "Don't put 13 holes in my walls"
Electrician: "Phfft, Don't be absurd. I shall go beyond expectations and blow your mind with *19* holes!!!"
Adam: "What-"
Electrician: "What?"
This guy renovates like he’s playing House Flipper
It’s been awhile since a new video came out so this is really cool to finally see him upload another video
Davey seems like a nice guys, he seems like he works with House Renovatiors.
technically the guy did his job, he didn’t put 13 holes in the wall
4:55 this montage hurts and i love it
Adam’s story-telling and humor is the best i swear
From the perspective of a 'professional' you never really feel that way, when You're a kid it seems that all the adults know what they're doing when you're an adult you realize no one has a clue.
I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING AT THIS
4:42
we love the comedy king Adam, thanks for making me laugh man
This needs to be on Netflix like your entire channel just telling stories to people around the world
I'm so happy that the good-old story telling videos are back, they are the best! Not like the short ones posted before this one, no offense.
Adam I want to thank you because you have been an inspiration for me and I remember when the song “I’m something else” first released so thank you for being a good support system for me. As well as that I related to your song help oh well on a personal level at that point and now in high school so I’m looking up so continue making me and other people happy 👍🏻
I mean, that guy DOES look like the kind of guy who'd put holes in somebody's house tho
Adam obsessing over the holes in his walls is the kind of OCD or ADHD (not assuming he has them, just saying it's simlar) behavior I can relate to.
So you are saying that people are supposed to be fine with having holes in their walls?
@@turquoiseturtle2363 No, I'm just pointing out how relatable Adam's video was today.
I do have adhd but anyone would be upset if someone left 19 hand sized holes on thewalls of their home lol. Appreciate u loving the vid ❤
