I've been really enjoying this series, it's a fun idea and has been executed well. But I think perhaps you've stuck a little to closely to the plot of the source material here. For instance I don't think given the circumstances Gero would wait as long to enact his revenge, it wouldn't be worth the risk of losing his attack line to some random villian using the same type of technique at a weaker level. I also think he'd plan in more redundancy: piercing and poison are two attack lines, but other ideas such as extreme temperature, suffocation and electrocution would definitely have been considered (even in canon the androids had nuclear bombs as an alternate option).
What if goku : - had friezas potential ( trained for 4 months and went from namek to overcoming ssb) - asura ( asura wrath) reincarnation - was born in ssj ( his base form) - had the speedforce - had Charon reflect ( Fire force. Search it up)
This just reminded me that Goku knows how to use a Zweihander. Those sword swings that he used when he held the Z sword are move sets from the German heavy double handed sword techniques. Then Goku's child self in DB EP. 1 was seen holding a sword the size of Gut's Dragon Slayer. If the sword is a huge ass Japanese hand saw.
