| Brazil overwhelmed Poland to take pole position at the 2021 VNL.
Brazil brought down Poland in a clash of the table leaders at the 2021 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League to now stand alone at the very top upon conclusion of Week 3.
Here's the reaction after the game, from the virtual Mixed Zone:
Michal Kubiak (Poland): "Brazil played better than us. All credit to the team of Brazil and we couldn't do anything today. A little bit of everything was missing in our game. We were serving good I believe, but we couldn't defend, we couldn't block them. They just played a really good game."
Bruno Rezende (Brazil): "We are in the process of improvement, trying to take another step every day. Of course, playing against one of the strongest teams in the world and winning is something very gratifying and means that we are on the right track. For sure it's just the beginning. They have a great team with many players and they change lineups, so we tried to prepare for their entire team and I think we did it well. We played with a lot of intensity and good defence - it was something that we wanted to improve and today we played great in this system. Our block-defence was amazing. We will now try to rest a bit and focus on the next games."

Great match, but tough to see my team lose. Brazil played very well in defence and from situational balls. Semeniuk - must go to the Olympics, such a great debut. Whole team pretty much not concentrated enough. Weird to see Leon playing just for 2 points though. Much respect to Brazil from Poland. Peace. :)

Polônia veio com o time bem parecido neste jogo contra o Brazil, o mesmo usado contra a Holanda. Concluo que, mesmo tendo um banco muito bom e que o técnico polonês apostou neles, o Brasil levou. Deixou a Polônia nervosa! Go brazil!!

The coach has a plan. Whether its a good plan remains to be seen. He didnt bother to make changes even if he was losing, he was just observing, so winning this match was not his priority right now. The next encounter will be more exciting

Great match, high level volley,one of the best matches until now.Impressive the vertical reach of all players .Especially polish players.Brasil a bit better ,great defence.This could have being the tournement final. Strange that Leon and Kurek didn t join the fight.But Poland has a great selection of spikers .I think that Leon getting in to the match and Kurek could have slightly changed the result. Anyway a pleasure to watch ,this is great volley . One of those teams plus France and incredible Slovenia are very likely to win the tournement , Russia has great players but the team as a whole doesn t manage to exploit their potential .

It was a match only for the lead in the VNL group round - Not for a medal, if it were a match for a medal, 2 alternations would be enough - Kaczmarek and Kubiak. Brazil has the Polish complex and they played with the strongest squad - but I am not surprised. In the previous finalsix edition 2 defeats against Poland B, 2 consecutive World Cup finals 3:1 and 3:0 ^^

Bieniek tava jogando, e Leon entrou em quadra tbm, mas levou um Block lindo, e o Brasil tava colocando o Borges toda hora, ou seja Brasil não tinha tanta vantagem, mas conseguiu ser uma seleção 300x melhor do que a Polônia, e no fim fizeram 3x0

Holanda já chegou , ganharam em 96 da Itália , perderam pra gente em 92. Não vou nem compara ela a Itália que não tem 🏅 de ouro mas olha a quantidade de finais eles tem no currículo em Olimpíada , isso é questão de tempo.
