Tyler Hoeve Dude, I thought you were talking about the engine. This is a car equipped with VTG chargers, you just mess up the setup if you change the backpressure in any way. Want 40 hp more? Just play around with boost pressure and ECU mapping but then, kiss reliability good-bye. This is a highly modified Turbo S engine, not your bullet proof Mezger engine or a totally new developmemt.
I own a GR 2019 GT2 RS, WP, Mags, et al options...they are fantastic cars and so fun to drive and in my book one of the best looking cars on the planet. For those that don't know, the 991.2 RS PDK allows you to pull both paddles to get into neutral and rev the engine then if you snap release both paddles you are effectively "dumping the clutch", which helps when starting a drift...if you listen at 1:11 - 1:12 the driver does just that. If I want to start a drift I usually am at a little more speed and change direction to upset the car just slightly and when the weight is transferring then dump the clutch and wam there she goes. Not real good for the $525 - $850 tires depending on which you are running (Cup2 or Cup2 R respectively), but still fun.
Just pull both paddle shifters so the clutch will be disengaged and you are ready to have fun. The 991.1 Gt3 already had that feature, but not much knew that

Saud A You can go at any speed, press both the paddles and the car goes in neutral (N on automatics). The car keeps rolling and when you press one shifter he goes in the right gear according the speed you are currently doing

Should have gotten an equal driver in the gt2rs. The Gt3 driver knew how to drive and hoon. Gt2rs driver was not experienced and didn't showcase the car well. He was too scared or doesn't have skills. At the min he could have done a burnout. I understand that is not what the car is for, but people want a show.
I get what you're saying but i dont really agree. They did burnouts, donuts etc but simply not at every possible moment. The car is a track machine and not a "fun show toy". Since they used Walter Röhrl (0:40) and other factory drivers i doubt they lack skill or experience.

Seems like the diff was not helping which is normally a great thing while driving. Turn PSM/TSC off.. Rev till 3k and drop the hammer. Let her rip...
The car is not 4wd, this is why he was careful. This is a pre-production factory car and a rare one, why "finish it off" too early? ;-) No need for that. I got seven Porsche in the past five years and I am not interested in primitive show-offs like donuts or whatever. I want numbers, real world numbers (not achieved by factory drivers).
