- In this episode we head up to the Keppel Islands. Launching from Rosslyn Bay Harbour excitement was high as we had 4 fantastic days of weather in front of us. Come with us as we fish, snorkel and explore some of the beauty that the Keppel's has to offer.
Some of the highlights include reef fishing for Nannygai, popping and stick baiting for Giant Trevally and snorkeling some of the beautiful coral gardens around various islands.

Great video thanks. We’re heading up to Yeppoon with the boat and caravan next week and was hoping to get off for a night out two. Which island are you sleeping at here? Thanks
Hi mate. Cheers for watching. You'll love it up there! It's paradise that's for sure. Depending on wind direction we anchor overnight at either Long Beach or Fisherman's Beach in GKI or Considine Bay on North Keppel. Enjoy your time there
Great video guys. What time of year were you up there? Thinking of trying to get the family up September school holidays just not sure on winds at that time of year
Thank you mate. You'll love it up there. Beautiful place. We were up there in February. Should be good in September ! Generally the winds are low that time of year.
What a great episode Justin & Emma! Looked like an awesome family adventure! New engine looks mint 👌
Thank you mate. Much appreciated. Excellent memories were made on this trip. New engine ran beautifully 😀
Excellent dream boat, for its size it is the most balanced cruiser out there. The bottom driving position looks very cramped for leg room.
Thank you mate. The boat really sits in the sweet spot that's for sure. Good observation regarding the lower helm, not a huge amount of leg room but just enough.
Thanks and hope to see more adventures of my dream boat.@@onthelooseadventures
Nice vid, you changed from inboard to outboard. How come?? advantages vs disadvantages.
Thank you mate. Yes, some big changes to the boat in the last 12 weeks ! The inboard gave up the ghost so there was only one option in my mind, to go outboard. I'll do another walkthrough video in the next week or so
What hp is that??? It would be great and interesting discussing fuel consumption and kmhs per litre and how you did it.@@onthelooseadventures
I agree a vid on cost to get the pod and transom done would be great ! Looks much better with the outboard on the back !
