That was the one thing that irked me about that mission. What they were doing wasn't crossing the T, in fact if they were that would be favorable for them and wouldn't need the reaction that they had. They were charging in getting their T crossed.

2:08 THAT particular moment made me retry this mission several times because I couldn't help but try to do something stupidely epic to fit to the music. It mostly resulted as a crash in the sea ofc.

Which means Woodward lived.

2:08 Straight Ace Combat vibes
Spoiler : This is the leitmotif for the Sky. It is recurrent in the game, you can hear it in a lot of tracks from the Soundtrack.

That long build up from 1:28 up to the major point of the piece at 2:08, with the Hitman symbolic 2-3 note melody of the electric guitars combined with the background strings that start at 1:38, oh man this composition is underrated as hell. Might even say it's become a new favourite.

I HAD to look this track up after playing through it's mission. Absolutely phenomenal work.
Little did we know that 2:08 would go on to be the best leitmotif in the whole game.
Easily one of my favourite missions.
Low and thick dark clouds, lightnings all around, two planes and a fleet crushing battlegroups.
It was such a joy to dog fight inside the clouds and after finally taking down the enemy, you break through the cloud and see all that clear blue sky above. Diving down again into darkness to crush more enemies and cross the T with such music is just so romantic and epic at the same time. Plus some "traditional" things like intercepting cruise missiles with a jet, amazing job.

Honestly, IMO, the most iconic piece in the game.
Hardest mission in the game, from my point of view. The low clouds at 4000-5000 feet make the old Stuka dive bomber tactic risky as hell.
Going in into this mission blind in VR was such a special moment.

I just finished playing this mission last Night and holy hell was I on edge the entire time! Epic Music for a mission where you just have 1 squad member with you against an entire fleet with Ships! After my first try I realized some of them had Railguns so I focused on taking these out first going onward. Finished the Mission with 1 Hull point left and was completely exhausted after that!
Again great Music for this Mission and all of the Tracks are just perfect! Big respect to you Jose for making such amazing music!

Odd as mission 1 is your introduction to cordium explosions.
Parts of this give me vibes from Naval Blockade from Ace Combat 5 and parts of Blockade from Ace Combat 4

Going through clouds and dogfighting amidst the blue sky with thick clouds with so many rail guns whizzing by matched perfectly to this music. Cockpit view was perfect. There were so much tension if I was going to hit the ocean when I couldn't see anything in the clouds. I kept looking closely at the attitude indicator

I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants this.
I want anyone to remix the lesser known songs. I love Peacekeepers 1 and 2, Showdown, Presidia, and Kings.
