No mention of Hector's Panaderia... The best burritos you could ever have. I grew up eating there.

As a lifetime Watsonville resident, I find it disgusting how this once small quiet, peaceful and safe town has degraded to the cesspool that it is now. Not one of the original decent stores or respectable businesses remain .. Fords, gone. J.C. Penny, gone. Jansen music, gone, along with so many others.. but even if these places still existed, venturing down town or nearly anyplace in Watsonville has become unsafe. The vast majority of decent people have left this city because of this..

What caused that, do you think? Income stratification, maybe? National retail chains? J.C. Penney is gone from a lot of places.
I remember Seagate was there for a while... a short while. Then they went offshore.

Your straight tripping, watsonville used to be even more dangerous back then. Now we got lots of patrol officers out in the streets and crime rate has gone down because cops stepped it up. So stfu, ur not even speaking facts

True. I had to move my parents due to gang violence. The Watsonville and Pajaro Valley that my dad and my uncle were a big part of in their businesses and taught us about the Chinese and other immigrants who helped Watsonville grow. Now it is another slum city filled with violence even with a strong police force.
