- David finds himself working at a horse track. His goal is to talk to Thomas Logan, a Native American who has developed a combination of herbs and other natural ingredients that turned the meanest horse on the circuit into a Kentucky Derby contender. If it can calm a horse down that well, David would like to know if it'll work on him.

The Baltimore Orioles were desperately looking for hitters, so they held open tryouts to the public. After looking over several prospects, the manager was ready to give up when he was approached by an old man.
"Aren't you a little old to be a ballplayer, mister?" said the manager. The old man replied, "I'm not the hitter. My horse is."
He led the horse up to home plate and put a bat in his mouth.
The pitcher threw the ball, and the horse swung. CRACK! The ball flew to the deepest part of centerfield, bouncing off the wall, missing a homerun by 2 feet. The horse stood still in the batter's box.
The manager yelled, "Run! Run!" but the horse didn't move. The manager said to the old man, "Why won't he run?"
The old man said, "If he could run, he'd be racing at Pimlico!"
Episode 3 was about car racing. Episode 4 is about horse racing.
What is the next episode about? Potato sack races?
How'd you guess?
I would've guessed the 3-legged race.
Pity the poor guy who is teamed up with David when he Hulks out!

I'm glad you mentioned Ned Romero. I remember him as a regular cast member of the short=lived DAN AUGUST TV show starring Burt Reynolds.
When I started doing this seriously, I noticed all the excellent character actors/actresses who go from who to show, filling in the gaps and providing what's needed. To me they're the true unsung heroes of all television, and probably a lot of movies.
The first thing I noticed during the second transformation was the Hulk still had the shirt with the pass on it. If this was more of a comedy, then the guard would have been half-drunk, looked up, said something like "Red pass, go on it" and gone back to his bottle.
I am a bit curious that if some kind of tranquilizer was the solution why he isn't pursuing that. Of course, David is still thinking the Hulk is the disease, and doesn't quite want to admit that the Hulk is actually a cure. He mostly comes out when the body or mind is in trauma, like how blood clots wounds.

Poor David, (Bill) didn't get much of that beer he was drinking. Bartender gave him half a cup of foam, and you could see on his second drink he was trying to get past it. I never saw this show during its run on television, but now you've kind of got me attached to it.
Mr. Irving, I sure do appreciate your reactions and all of your narration of the differing shows you watch.
Thank you. I really draw strength from comments like these and have the will to keep doing this. I mean, I'm having the time of my life, but knowing people enjoy it is "where it's at" as we hippie wannabes used to say.
@dwashbur I was with you when you did 66 batman and the episode of darn, catwoman and the epilog when you said that when catwoman being dead after a fall from that building is not impossible and you think that either writers thought kids in the 60s were idiots or writers themselves were idiots .personally, I go with the writers were idiots some people probably didn't like Adam west batman ,but me personally I like this cheese batman and if it was not for Adam we would never would have batman the animated series with some comedy and serious mainly or batman the brave and bold a tv show that is a reference to the batman 66 and 60s detective comics in general . Even though I like batman the animated series and some part of batman vs superman I just don't like it when writers write batman edge figh and while I do like edge batman ,I feel like they write him too much edge to the point where he would have to kill them instead of knocking them out and his no killing rule that batman lives by.
@@dwashbur you rock dude, keep it up.
@@dwashbur I agree with you on the first egg head episode of chief screaming chicken . When I saw native American people I was hooked on learning about their lives and on TV show them doing a powwow dance but I never understood why the Indians in the western movie and TV shows made them sound like they were not human . When I saw walker Texas ranger the original one there was a native American named uncle Ray who talked like us and I As a little kid thought that they talked with both their language and our language and not way that no like the writers of western movie and TV show. I think that the first egg head episode was a bad egg and a insult to great writers .
My parents took me on some kind of tour on a reservation in Oklahoma when I was in my mid teens. The gentleman leading it said, "I don't understand the white man. He goes to his deer and he calls it a buck. Then he goes to the Indian and calls him a buck. Then he goes to his dollar and calls THAT a buck. Very confusing."
Back in college, I bussed tables with a nice High School kid who was "the Third." Not snooty at all, I think he's a fireman today. Oh and you are in good company with that one patent; Abraham Lincoln actually had one patent! (Yes, THAT Abraham Lincoln!)
I didn't know that. Thanks!
@@dwashbur you rock dude.
I went to school with a guy who had "the Third" in his name.
Instead of "John Doe the Third" (fake name, obviously), the kids called him "John Doe the Nerd"!
I had a pastor who was a "the third". They called him Tri.
A brief snippet of the shot of David on the bus reading the paper pops up again in Homecoming
0:29 where did that guy learn bartending because that is not how you're supposed to pour a beer lol
I don't mind a good derby episode. Wish it had a bit more time to stew
GET OUT OF HULKS WAY
