It does but how would you deal with bad pressure, if you have a straight pipe you don’t have enough back pressure to make the engine run right that’s my only concern.

Make sure you get it done right, my buddy has a single in dual out and the shop didn’t do it right and one of his tips rattles really bad

I went with a mix of the two, I have a cat and resonator delete and the flow master super 10 muffler so almost straight piped but loud af

I bought my truck as a v6 super clean paint job and 22s looked better than most v8s in my area, i ended up lowering it did a ss conversion and i also put bolt ons and a tune and it gapped some v8s lmao but now i have a 5.3 going in it tbh its more fun building a project than just buying a built truck already
Oh thats nice, nowhere else to backout of the shop except right into traffic lanes, no parking lot... pays big $$ for an exhaust, then gets their car/truck potentially totalled in the same day.
It belongs in a Sonoma or s10 though.

Everyone should have and get performance cats so ur exhuast breaths then the flowmaster actually works by having stock cats and flows don't really help when ur cats don't let the air flow out all the way how its suppose too
I just bought a 2018 Silverado V6 and it has 2 converters and a 3rd resonator and I put a flowmaster 40 series and it sounds like a tundra 😡 and I have a suburban V8 4x4 with the same flowmaster 40 series and it sounds the way I like it but not the Silverado should I put a super 10 on the Silverado,so it could sound like a V8?

Mufflers don't impact emissions at all. Depending on the laws though, any exhaust mods could cause a fail, plus if it is too loud, it might fail inspection on noise

That super 10 is not bad thought it would be much louder than that. What's the best muffler for 00' Buick regal 3.8L supercharged? It has 400whp heads Cam etc( check out my video). But I want a muffler that's not to loud but doesn't restrict my power😏

Why is it always the dudes with a v6 that put the big ass rims and only cosmetic shit. Maybe take the money for those 22s and exhaust and LS swap the truck? I see these things on marketplace allll the time, they look pretty good til you see 4.3 😂
I ain’t going to lie. I put 22 snowflakes on my stock 2000 Silverado 4.3. It’s perfect condition. Main reason why I got it But the LS swap is coming. Single can by the way.

Its not all about POWER, nothing wrong with the six. I got my v6 for half what the same truck would be with v8.

You have an s10 motor, which is a 350 minus two cylinders. You get shit mileage, they sound terrible, and you got no powah babeh. First thing people with 6 cylinder cars and trucks look up is an exhaust that makes it sound like a v8, which is probably why you're here,, but there's no such thing

Totally disagree. Had every setup under the sun from raptor mufflers to borla kits and even a cobbled together system from other old car/truck OEM parts sounds better. Plus dont need tylenol to sit in the vehicle.

so maybey thats why it dont bother me I kinda like being able to hear it it saves starters and flywheels
