To play devil's advocate regarding KC, we all probably agree that Bo has the best game sense in that team. But is it possible that the way he (and upset) sees the game just doesn't work with the other 3 and they could band aid it by playing less aggressive and in tune with the other 3? It's probably still hard since the supp doesn't talk how he wants to play. It's possible that the management wanted Bo to adjust his style but Yamato stood with Bo hence he got sacked. Pun intended.

He accepted to get a lower rank because he wanted to work with the LEC squad, even as Yamato's assistant. At least we can understand that after this split where they didn't like Yamato's methodology, they would go back to something they know, they like and have experienced success with. And if you change the coach, might as well do it as soon as possible to give more time to build something. Actually, they may even have considered replacing him after the second week. I'm playing the devil's advocate here as I don't believe this was the right move and that their communication around it was bad (and KC fans blame Wooloo for that xD).

Also, official games in EU are a lot less bloody than scrims and from what I understand Lucian does really well with kills.
EU Lucians are trash because they dont know how to extend their leads, so cant convert the early game pressure into mid game - The only team that can successfully execute on it are G2. (KC could because Upset is really good on Lucian, the issue is the team is so bad that he cant do anything on it". )
KC fan here, I heavily disagree with the comments about french fans, most kc fans feel this is the wrong move, most kc fans asked Yamato to somehow stay, and a lot of KC fans are feeling like Saken is way too overprotected and that this is just an excuse from management to show that they are proactive instead of just not changing anyone. Lastly, of course there are KC fans who know nothing about the league scene, most of us aren't league fans first but KC fans who happen to follow every game they play on wheter it be RL Valorant or League. Don't generalize people in order to defend your friend, cause your friend himself doesn't condone your doing of that.

As per usual, "Yamato was able to band aid and get their team to worlds", Which means that, given a full year, he cannot fix team issues. And that's been for every team he has ever coached ever. Splyce, Vitality, Fnatic... All teams that needed bandaid and never got to fix issues. Also, you don't know the coach they are promoting. You can't know how it'll turn out. And before you say "KC fan", I am not, I fucking despise this fan base.
"AHA HE BANDAIDED WHICH MEANS HE IS A BAD COACH" - No sometimes players have such clashing personalities or playstyles that you physically cannot get them on the same page no matter how you try or they have limitations. So in the case of Fnatic - Hyli and Upset could not get on the same page as humanoid and Humanoid didnt care about regular season and was running it in scrims, which put him at odds with the Botlane. Razork and Humanoid couldn't get on the same page so Yamato drafted and strategized around that in order to limit their weaknesses. Splyce had 0 problems personality wise but players like Sencux were limited midlaners, so Yamato had to bandaid them in order to stop Sencux getting exposed against much higher skill ceiling Midlaners. So he would hide flex picks, etc using Wunders champion ocean (So you would see like Liss toplane) or would draft things to sack mid so that he could snowball the better players on the team and keep Sencux out of lane as much as possible and linked up with Kold/Trashy. Vitality had again limitations - Jiizuke was bad with vision and needed the game played around him, Attilla and Jactroll were bad laners so had to constantly swap them around. Yamato bandaided their issues by putting Jiizuke on things that could pressure sidelanes and have Mowgli track the enemy jungle so he couldn't get caught out and stuck Atilla and Jactroll in a shorter lane on more scaling picks that allowed them to play for late game fights. So Vitality became a very good splitpushing team in which they pulled teams around the map using Cabo and Jiizuke to leverage pressure - It was actually genius strategy and hid a lot of their individual weaknesses as players. "Bandaiding" is not a coaching issue - it generally means the coach has had to get more involved than he normally would and come up with alternat strategies in order to hide team weaknesses... the fact that Yamato not only made those teams competitive but also managed to get them to worlds and in line to win titles is actually a good thing about him as a coach... saying "Oh well he didnt fix the problems so therefore that means he is a bad coach" is laughable because some problems are not fixable. Like Fnatic - You physically could not fix a clashing of personalities, they actively reached the point where Scrimming made them hate each other more, there is nothing you can do there - You as a coach can only mitigate the problems. Reha is a nobody, he won EUM with a team that was already built and was literally gaping EUM with their individual skill. You might not be a KC fan, but its clear your one of these "Yamato is a paycheck stealer" people who thinks he is a bad coach and always has been because "he has never won anything".

Guys I think I cracked the code to understanding why people will continue to watch you but they will always comment about how you’re wrong.
It’s to feed their own ego, because they actually do respect your opinions and see you as an authority figure on these topics, and so if they can stump you or correct you in a comment, they then get an ego boost. Which is why they will constantly say you’re wrong, because they want the ego boost.

JDG a team with hands and the best adc, top laner and a insane mid, and you have bds. If the shit bds is doing is done against any top 5 lck and lpl team they will get destroyed. Just cause your not punished for it in LEC dont mean you wont in the international stage

JDG were playing in LPL and JDG were not hard losing in early game... they had some of the highest Lane and Jungle control in the league, they were solid laners and were actively playing scaling compositions in a lot of games.... JDG are nothing like BDS. I like BDS but trying to compare them to JDG is completely unhinged.

Supa is overrated as hell - He literally makes stupid mistakes all the time and got absolutely gaped by Noah who hasnt even been playing that well.
As per usual, "Yamato was able to band aid and get their team to worlds", Which means that, given a full year, he cannot fix team issues. And that's been for every team he has ever coached ever. Splyce, Vitality, Fnatic... All teams that needed bandaid and never got to fix issues. Also, you don't know the coach they are promoting. You can't know how it'll turn out. And before you say "KC fan", I am not, I fucking despise this fan base.
"AHA HE BANDAIDED WHICH MEANS HE IS A BAD COACH" - No sometimes players have such clashing personalities or playstyles that you physically cannot get them on the same page no matter how you try or they have limitations. So in the case of Fnatic - Hyli and Upset could not get on the same page as humanoid and Humanoid didnt care about regular season and was running it in scrims, which put him at odds with the Botlane. Razork and Humanoid couldn't get on the same page so Yamato drafted and strategized around that in order to limit their weaknesses.
Splyce had 0 problems personality wise but players like Sencux were limited midlaners, so Yamato had to bandaid them in order to stop Sencux getting exposed against much higher skill ceiling Midlaners. So he would hide flex picks, etc using Wunders champion ocean (So you would see like Liss toplane) or would draft things to sack mid so that he could snowball the better players on the team and keep Sencux out of lane as much as possible and linked up with Kold/Trashy.
Vitality had again limitations - Jiizuke was bad with vision and needed the game played around him, Attilla and Jactroll were bad laners so had to constantly swap them around. Yamato bandaided their issues by putting Jiizuke on things that could pressure sidelanes and have Mowgli track the enemy jungle so he couldn't get caught out and stuck Atilla and Jactroll in a shorter lane on more scaling picks that allowed them to play for late game fights. So Vitality became a very good splitpushing team in which they pulled teams around the map using Cabo and Jiizuke to leverage pressure - It was actually genius strategy and hid a lot of their individual weaknesses as players.
"Bandaiding" is not a coaching issue - it generally means the coach has had to get more involved than he normally would and come up with alternat strategies in order to hide team weaknesses... the fact that Yamato not only made those teams competitive but also managed to get them to worlds and in line to win titles is actually a good thing about him as a coach... saying "Oh well he didnt fix the problems so therefore that means he is a bad coach" is laughable because some problems are not fixable. Like Fnatic - You physically could not fix a clashing of personalities, they actively reached the point where Scrimming made them hate each other more, there is nothing you can do there - You as a coach can only mitigate the problems.
Reha is a nobody, he won EUM with a team that was already built and was literally gaping EUM with their individual skill. You might not be a KC fan, but its clear your one of these "Yamato is a paycheck stealer" people who thinks he is a bad coach and always has been because "he has never won anything".

Most of your points are : X player is bad at Y, so Yamato did this to band aid. I agree with you. But if the players under you do not improve or learn to work with each other, I don't think you're a long term solution for a team. Which he is supposed to be, given a 2 year contract. You do stop the bleeding, but the minute you take off your hand, the dude is dying. And my point is, they are biased af.

@@TWSVince As I said you cannot expect a coach to fix all the problems - Some problems just cannot be fixed. If a player is borderline mute, a coach cannot fix that. If a player cannot play certain champions - A coach cannot fix that, the coach is forced to band aid around it and draft ways to hide those weaknesses. If a team has internal issues - Sure he can help but at the same time some relationships just do not work no matter what you do. It is disingenuous to say "Oh he didn't fix them so he failed or is not a good long term solution". It does not work that way.
You could bring in the greatest coach to have ever lived and it wouldn't matter, same as sometimes those internal issues are beyond your control as it can relate to management and be a long standing issue. if Saken cannot play Akali - Its not yamato's job to sit their and coach him how to play Akali, same as its not his job to sit their and teach him how to play against it. Do people think that coaches like Kkoma or Reapered sit down with their players and go through the individual mechanics associated with every champion. Like those guys won worlds... they didn't run around teaching players the individual mechanics associated with every champion.
Bandaid is when a coach has to cover for things that cannot be fixed in order to do the best the team can. Its an important part of coaching.
