Absolutely incredible..... what a skill.... thanks for sharing this, its a skill that I would say many would read about but never try unless they actually SEE how its done. I am hugely impressed!
cheers Simon, it wasn't the easiest video to do but the result came out the same. in which I'm glad about cheers .............................................Tony
Thanks for that Tony, the walls look much better after the application and it looks relatively simple, as long as you dont flood it with paint as you mentioned.
no problem Paul another little tip if rub the card to hard it also takes away the print. once finished a light coat of mat paint. I use the spray paint .........................regards Tony
Tony, have you ever tried using iso propyl alcohol as a solvent when weathering? Its a trick that I learned when modeling American O/On30 over the last 30 years. It soaks into card just as well as water but does not soften it like water does. I started using it after reading about it in the various model railroad magazines (of which I have shelves full and no idea what to do with them!). I'm back on British OO now, but the American techniques that I picked up are still useful. All the best, Ken.
Hi Ken sorry for the late reply.... just going through some of my videos, and found this comment. you must have a wealth of knowledge to share. weathering card is a tricky task. I think powders would be best. I will have to try them at some point. best wishes Tony
