What an awesome surprise to be watching outdoor living videos on RUclips and end up seeing your family come up on the tv! Looks like an awesome time guys! Loves ya all.
Long time since I visited Howley memories there with family who lived there, the train was still running when I was there. Bear watching at the dump. Loved the video by the way bottled lobster is wicked. Take care keep it up.
Funny the weather could be blowin your socks round backwards but if the fish are biting you’ll hardly notice lol beauty trout and a beauty day with some buddies .
Another refreshing day , feeling the getaway sitting on the couch lol,,,, great video more trout the next time, get to hear my nephew music, @Dale Clements
Any trout is a good trout and the first trout is the best trout! I had to Google this because anything Newfoundland fascinates me… “* Scrunchions is an authentic dish from the Canadian province of Newfoundland, consisting of crispy, fried, bite-sized pieces of pork fat and salt pork rinds. The dish is typically served as an accompaniment to fish and brewis - another Newfoundlander dish made with cod and hard tack (a type of bread) - but it can also be used as a flavoring for other foods such as potatoes and salt fish.*”
Can't have a much gooder day than that one Andrew. I dont think the fish are biting to great here yet either. Might be too much natural food in the waters where we had such a open winter.
How did the sand bars form at howler? is all the area soil and the bush and topsoil washed away? How deep is the channel? is it natural or did they dredge it out in the past? Just curious...

I think it's fairly deep, where the current are seeing it's just all sand but it's a great spot to fish
Thats the way it goes me buddy. some days you wonder if you're better off eating the worms yourself. lol. At least ye got something
Hahah you got that right buddy! Nonetheless it was a great day out!
Is that a DJI spark?
It's the mini 2. I loves it
