It’s really amazing how you guys can build stuff like this, I’m still trying to make my own off-roader from a lawnmower engine. I’m only 14 too and I can’t wait til I find out how vehicles work and stuff like that. Keep up the good work!
Same bro but I’m trying to make an on roader
Y'all's definition of "solid" and My definition of solid is worlds apart.
you should weld some sheat metal onto the frame and paint it all army green like the ammo boxes
Found 100 issues wrong, and about 1000 safety hazards
But that's what being a kid is all about, nice job on the kart!
I love that c10
I think it needs balloon tyres like on a quad, it'll ride better as well. Also paint the go kart olive drab like the ammo boxes !!
great job you need to reinforce the strut bar and the front axles to make up for all the off-road capabilities.
You should give the off road go kart a cool paint job keep it up guys
That camber is wicked brosky but with all the upgrades you did, this machine is awesome! Keep up the good work.
Roll Cage!!! safety first guys
I usually don't like off-road but your go kart is awesome!!!!!
I really think you guys should fix that camber issue on those front wheels it looks like it needs an alignment as well other than that great job looks awesome
they need a proper knuckle, reinforced control arms and rack/tierods. some way to adjust that camber as you mentioned
I love satin olive green!👍I think atv tires would really set it off as an off road kart. Just saying.
Yeah after we paint it we’ll get some crazy tires for the back lol....maybe v treads.
seeing you have engine and axle mounted/suspended together is allright and good... what buddies in Oregon were doing: engine and short axle/sprocket disc brake rotor (2 big bearings) driving little Honda or Geo output shafts (CV joints U joints whatever), to have 4 wheel independent suspension (no differential). a bit more work but WOW, totally worth a trip to the junkyard to raid the parts for making it happen. one of them was 400+ cc husky snowmobile engine with auto trans, other was yamaha 650 powered, so you're close to the same ballpark for displacement anyway, but definitely put a cage on it if you intend to play hard at all, things DO happen fast.
other thing I'm seeing watching it run, you really need a much larger rear sprocket so that engine can spin up easier, or pop in another chain on a 2:1 jack shaft. the engine and TC belt will love you for it, and you'll love how much snappier it accelerates!
Don't forget about the breather in the gas cap when take'r in the water.
Seal up the valve breather connections aswell
That thing is a beast
Always a blast, watching you guys ripping around.
Need to order some longer front shocks and clean the carb and adjust it along with the valves then paint It.
YAY new off road go kart video finally!!!!
Finally a channel that knows how to build !
Stunt Smith. Try grind hard plumbing C.O thair the bomb LOOK THEM uP JUST dO it
The suspension and steering would feel soooo much better too you good, with all new shocks! It would also give you lift and cushion those blows after going airborne.
Just my two cents 😊
Nitrous time!!
Please show more of that c10! It’s a lot like my old 68. I miss my truck so much
Really great job guys, nice project
With that battery box put some rubber washers in between the bolts holding it down otherwise water could get in.
This is sick!!!!!
i like how there using spray paint (which is flammable) while all those sparks are coming from the grider
Inniyew Tesfaw I like how you care 😂 they can burn themselves up if they feel like it lol
I do agree but in a dry state spray paint is MUCH less flammable and would take much more that a spark to ignite it.
ADD A HUGE BULLBAR!!!!!
I wish I was your neighbor. Looks like a beautiful area. Perfect for your buggy ! However... Your "tow hook" at 9:00, is a little, underwhelming ? All kidding aside, super video and good workmanship on your container !
I wanna see moreeeeee of that C dime!
i hope you let your mates drive also :o) looks soo fun i want a fast one.
It shot a flame💥🔥
Planning on doing the same to my go-kart
You're are supposed to clean the areas from rust paint before you weld the welds will be a lot cleaner and penetrate the steel more efficiently. Also you're supposed to get a solid metal rod that fits the inside diameter of the pipe drill holes in the pipe all the way through insert the metal rod inside the pipe at each Junction to align the joints and strengthen the welds and the joint
Holy shit, that front wheel camber
A simple solution to keep the tools from rattling is to wrap them in a cloth and tie a string around.
This guy can't make up his mind. I like it , I don't like, I like it , I don't like it...wait I like it...this is ridiculous. Lol!
bro that focus thooo
Thats cool.
Out with the old in with the new
Cool build but actually do some offroading. I have a yard kart and I can jump and go mudding in it I'd like to see this beast in action
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! That is AWESOME!!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!
The coils in the front need to be stiffer for better steering and handing. You can see the negative camber of the front. Stiffer or slightly longer springs should fix that.
Nice mustang
Awesome vid dude
At 8:45 the gloves looks like a fender and it looks cool so get some on your go kart
On a quad/ATV, using a snorkel requires re-jetting of the carb.
Very cool!
May I suggest you guys put a roll bar / cage on the off-road Go Kart.
Great vid guys
Actually you could not run under water because it would get into your ignition system and the load on the flywheel would stall the engine too.
If you made a 'bath tub' around the engine [an air box essentially] with just say wet seals where the axles go out maybe, I could see that being water resistant for short excursions into moderate dampness...
Not sure what planet you are from, but here on earth there is no such thing as a 'smooth' flywheel on any known engine builds. And since water is 800 times denser than air, all of the various NOT smooth surfaces are busy trying to move through all of that water are going to meet the same kind of resistance as when you put a perfectly smooth bullet into water.
Lets see if you get smarter this day...
ruclips.net/video/cp5gdUHFGIQ/видео.html
guys, your pinical on the front wheels are off by a few. try too readjust then too a inward angel of two degree. or tighten the shocks up some.
Love the egzost sounds better cool amonbox and clean the carb
Nice job guys! Looks fun. Have any videos on that truck?!
I wanna see if you sprayed the electronics in flex seal, would it make them waterproof?
Watch out for that overspray man I'm sure some got on your car
Hey man you should throw on a decent set of shocks on the rear you can get some decent piggybacks on ebay for 65 bucks
I would invest in at least a roll bar if not a roll cage. Cool cart and I would love to have one but no place to ride here in suburbs where i live. It's become too built up.
Awesome
Lets see some of the c10 with the air ride! Will it drag?
It looks cool but damn dude it's got some issues as well you need fix the alignment and the idle adjustment screw or floats and some better shocks
That things insane
Put a rubber grommet around the hole in the battery box so the cable insulation does not get cut through?
i may have a ideafor the next update, why not try to install a turbocharger/supercharger on that 420cc motor and run it on offroad track/or whatever there is to run offroad with. it well be awesome to see it as the boosted offroad gokart on youtube
Has it got an alternator? You are going to need one with a light...
Dielectric grease would help protect the electrical from water
Trim down fer what!!!!!!
also, try adding some tank tracks to it
We get it's from go power sports haha
See so many Karts with that bent AF steering spindles, they're never beefy enough for how people want to use them. Since they supply a bunch of these pages. What about it Go power sports, how about some sort of retrofit steering knuckles that are up to the task and don't have a camber change after every jump. Just a suggest GPS.
Just go to source, skip the middleman, and buy them from buggy depot. Doesn't matter the designer/builder gets paid if you buy direct or not.
clearly not worried about overspray hitting the mustang.............
Steven Pope lol
Steven Pope its just a mustang
Why, you didn't want to paint the dumpster?
Steven Pope crowd plow you mean
Steven Pope iii
what kind of clutch do you guys use?
It really fucking sounds sweet
Should open the jets in the carb a little bit
What if it rains?
If you tried to get the engine underwater would the gas tank not fill up and your ignition coil short out? The ignition coil is exposed as well as your charging system (if you have a charging system) so once you get it good enough in the water, the water will splash enough around the coil to short it out and turn the engine off. This won't hurt your coil of course because you short it out Everytime you turn off the engine.
The breather line for the gas is tied to the snorkel so it won't fill
Need to show the bagged c10!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next add a roll cage
You need more speed. You should lose the governer and put a size larger gear on the axle. It bogs down way too easy. The larger sprocket will liven it up a fair bit.
the belt will still slip in water and mud so you still can't go mudding!?
So did you get in trouble for the overspray of that muffler which inevitably ended up on your dads Mustang or did you dump some acetone on the hood before he noticed?
These engines will die in water when the stator gets wet or goes underwater it kills them at least the olds ones did I just bought s brand new one gonna test it out here soon
Hey good video but you guys should know that welding creates heat
nice
Do yuo have any videos of you building this cart?
I'm glad you guys moved on from these shenanigans.
Great vids keep it up 👍
Next put a 670 with a turbo in it lol
You guys may not realize this at your ages but the skills. You Have building that go cart will help you out for the rest of your lives. The problem solving and engineering lessons You have learned by doing. Are way better. Than sitting in a lecture hall or reading in a book Plus the practicality of using tools and knowing how to weld, wire, and basic repair will save you lots of money. And grief. When you get older Or start careers
Craig Monteforte yeah we know
Use some flex tape for the pipe
That a real pos bubba
why is there so much freaking camber on the front tires??
Issa pile
Cus the upper arms are too short
You guys should add an cage
did you have to add any extra sealant to the motor ?
Put the breathers inside the filter
Seems like I only realize that now: One of U guys has got a special print on his dark blue hoodie. What does it mean to U? Are some of Your realatives member of this order?
Add a little winch to it
BOY! You really not going to fix those tires? The alignment in the front ones are shot to shart, and the ones in the back look partially deflated.... good build but you need to do more with the things that literally make able to move
Start a fire after you weld? Just give it a good smacking with welding gloves
How many horses does the engine have?
"do alot more of a good job breaking"
