I'm by no means a professional, but this guy's hips shoot up before performing a leg drive, which as far as I'm aware is bad. The only reason I'm saying this, is because I used to do the same thing, until I was coached out of it. First is leg drive with hips down, then go into hip hinge from around half way up the shin, or however your mechanics suit. Not hips shooting up, because you pull up with more lower back right???
with proper form doesnt matter whats natural and what not the barbell deadlift is one of the holy 3s for a reason. Dumbells and especially kettlebells change what muscles get involved and how u perform the excercise they are not a replacement. The trap bar havent tried mby the only solid advice but seems that the weight is beneath you so the muscles involved will still be different.

The Kettlebell lift is actually a nice leg exercise, whereas the dead lift is more lower back.
