This gives me a cool idea. Since Gon is forever lost in the limbo due to licensing issues, they could officially put Agumon in Tekken to carry over his move set. And in the topic of giving Tekken Digimon guest characters. pretty much all of Frontier's main cast would fit in perfectly into the game. That aside, nice picks. An alternative digimon partner for Jin Kazama could be Dorumon since Jin carries the devil gene and Dorumon carries the X antibody, could be a fun parallel if you ask me

I like the idea! I'd always thought that bandai should have done something, just like you did lol. I wonder would it be like, the digimon are in the real world or like the tekken characters are brought to the digital world and have to fight their way out. Either way I think it'd be fun to see! C'mon Bandai, give us a digimon fighter lol
As someone who plays Tekken on and off I'm pretty cool with this set up. Asuka having a Justimon just works and maybe she would finally get the rep she needed instead of being a total joke because Lili exists. Not to mention, Marcus popping up in Tekken would be amazing since he is the only Protag who FEELS like a Tekken character so him and Gon would be a tight pair and same with the other Digimon human characters. Overall, a very fun list and congratulations on the sponsors!

That image at 4:51 i dont know how accurate it is but it really gives perspective to how large the Digimon would be. Megas would be huge unless they could shrink down. But it makes sense to me for the sizes to be large since their data capacity is increasing.
There is some AWESOME potential for Combo supermoves! For example, choosing Marcus and Agumon would result in a ShineGreymon easteregg finisher move. Or Kazuya and Heihachi use a "Mishima Style Secret Move", or something. Or choosing Jin and Lucemon could have a "Aceded Mode" finisher, to parallel and oppose the Falldown Mode.
Now. If I’m being honest. I have never played a Tekken game as I am not very good at/have the patience for Fighting Games. I know a bit about Tekken and it’s story, along with it’s characters, but I actually started learning about thanks to that official crossover in Digimon World Re:Digitize (still sad we never got that one localized…), and I’ve wondered why the crossover was never taken further? At least in the world of Re:Digitize, it seems to take place in a version of the Tekken world, so it could lead to some insane crossover potential. this video helps scratch that itch for what a game like that could be. Plus Tekken is also apart of the Street Fighter world…which I believe is also a future version of the Asura’s Wrath world….this could be one insane crossover is all I’m saying and I love your ideas for it Karn. As a huge FGC fan and Digimon Fan I've always wanted like a 2.5 D fighting game or 3D fighting game like Tekken but with Digimon characters. I think Beelzemon and like a lot of the humanoid Digimon would be fantastic fighting game characters and could translate very well. But also with your Tekken idea, I think you could have them paired with Champion level Digimon and as like a rage drive for when they're low on health they can digivolve to mega for the rest of the round and be kind of OP in terms of moves and damage potential. With them all being champion it could make sense power level wise and if you want to include agumon it could be like an intro thing where he comes in as agumon but then digivolves into greymon right away before the match starts. I really like your inclusion of the happy pill from injustice I think something like that does need to to happen because a Paul DeathFist is no match for a GiaForce
I would be thinking a smaller roster with the Tekken Fighters fighting like normal and their fixed digimon partner kind of working as support, like if you knock an opponent into the air, the digimon would come flying in to continue the combo but the tekken would be the primary warrior, basically the fighting system would be bit more of a longer project x-zone combat style. This also sparks an idea of what digimon partners would you give to characters from other games like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat
Interesting idea, and here I was wondering if maybe Bamco would include any digimon as a DLC for Tekken 7, I was thinking Agnimon or BanchoLeomon since they are more humanoid and kinda more martial artists.
I definitely like the idea of a Digimon fighting game using a tag fighter system so humans and Digimon can fight alongside each other. As for the lore as to how the humans are able to fight Digimon, couldn’t we just say that the humans are using Digisoul to enhance themselves?

Never knew they crossovered, that's cool. Personally, I would love to see a crossover between Digimon and Yu-Gi-oh. Certain YGO monsters have "evolution lines", like Red-Eyes, and there is also a strong partner element in the YGO franchise, at least in the anime.
Another great episode as always. I’d love to see a vid where you told us your Digivolution lines for each of the Adventure partners and matching crests, e.g what would your Agumon or Tenotmon Digivolution lines be with the matching crests but with your likes and personality mixed in. Or if you had complete freedom to pick any lines that fitted the crests that matched your likes/personality ect, what would they be?

My first thought for Jin was Plusemon. The electric powers and the fact that Jin did change his style in Canon from his mom’s style to mishama style karate to unlearning the mishama could relate to the branching lines of plusemon.
Cool crossover idea how about one with Gundam build fighters/divers, I’ve been using Sei and Monodramon since Sei’s gunpla is called build strike Gundam and Monodramon’s evo is named Strikedramon.

You could always say that being outside the digital world has weakened the Digimon's power output due to a shortage of data to absorb. This also works as a sort of balancer for higher level Digimon since higher level = more data consumption.

This was a good video and I like how you think a Digimon and Tekken crossover would be you Bandai could do their own Smash bros like game including Tekken Digimon and any other of characters from their other games together and your choices for the partners was good through I think Devil Jin should have Black Agumon / Virus Graymon as it would provide a better connection to Jin’s Darkside and Chloe’s Gatomon could evolve into Persiamon/ Beastmon a Catlike Human.
Here’s some random street fighter digimon partners I had The luchador chef would have burger man but as a nod to his human this burger man paints his face in the style of famous Luchdors . 2. Sakarua I’m think either toy augo mon or one of the martial arts digimon. And the other one ken with Vee mon . Just some random thoughts. Maybe in the future you can do a deep dive with street fighter and digimon . Or maybe if the avengers had digimon partners .

Definitely like the idea especially the idea of the non human tekkan having human digimon is great but for fight style it's tough for me and I think the tag style is probably in my opinion the better idea as I don't think 2d be that good

A traditional Digimon fighting game has been my dream Digimon game for the longest. Hopefully one day Bandai makes that dream come true.
If I recall from a translation I played, Lili's numemon 'evolving' into monzaemon was strongly hinted to actually Lili wearing a monzaemon costume

I feel like you'd need to use specific partners until you beat story mode, and then after that you unlock mix and match.
If they ever make a good modern digimon fighter, even if its a 3d fighter or arena fighter I will drop all the FGs I play for that.
I have actually been thinking of making a digimon fighting game using Mugen, but I'm not very good at spritework yet.

This was a good video and I like how you think a Digimon and Tekken crossover would be you Bandai could do their own Smash bros like game including Tekken Digimon and any other of characters from their other games together and your choices for the partners was good through I think Devil Jin should have Black Agumon / Virus Graymon as it would provide a better connection to Jin’s Darkside and Chloe’s Gatomon could evolve into Persiamon/ Beastmon a Catlike Human.
I would actually give lars pulsemon evolution but dorumon also works

Rage meter fills up and yu goes demon mode with a skull satamon helping with combos

Just some random thoughts. Maybe in the future you can do a deep dive with street fighter and digimon . Or maybe if the avengers had digimon partners .

Definitely like the idea especially the idea of the non human tekkan having human digimon is great but for fight style it's tough for me and I think the tag style is probably in my opinion the better idea as I don't think 2d be that good
Yeah I agree that's why I'd base it heavily on a mix of Tekken 7 and Tekken Tag 2, feels like the right approach to me!

I'm a weird person and I would like a Digimon X Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons crossover. Tho I guess that would go more in direction of Rune Factory but pshhhh they belong together anyways >w> I know DW has some stuff similiar to HM/SoS, like fishing etc [at least in Next order, which is the only DW game I've played], but I'd like something better than that X,D Cause I enjoy farming sims and Digimon.
