In today's episode, I fried my garage door opener, Dad & Cooper fixed waterways and picked up rocks, JCB came to fix the skid-loader, I started re-mapping more fields, I saw a smoke tornado, and I checked out Uncle Orlyn's Farm to see how the scrap guys are coming along. In the middle of picking up more rocks Dad dropped some bad news saying the 10,000 bushel bin had plugged sumps. This led for a dangerous, dusty, stinky experience. Rotten soybeans are the absolute worst. Thanks for watching!

I truly appreciate the bin/auger/grain explanation. Our daughter's classmate lost her father in a bin accident back in the 90's, checking on the grain flow by himself without wearing a harness and he fell into the bin. Every time you, DC or Cooper are on the catwalks or working on the bins, I am reminded of that day. God's protection be over you all. Blessings

Not that confusing, get a book on the usual 3 phase forms and learn about how and why they use them. It's for when you need both single and 3 phase in the same building - like Multiple Air Conditioning units or industrial welders and lathe motors. You have to get everyone informed that they have 208v on the middle breakers in the panel. Make people pay for the burned up devices and the learn not to FAST. 😂

Put it on and go break some of the over hundred pound rocks down- at about 25-70 lbs they make good retaining walls and things. And if they don't break, the backhoe is the tool to gather them up. What fun, what fun!

Big time fan Cole, I thought I might add that your shape likely doesn’t have 3 phase power. More than likely it’s just 120/240. Which is a standard service to all houses through triplex. (Two hot legs and one neutral) 120 on each leg to ground and 240 between them. Depending on what transformer setup you had if there was 3 phase power you would also have 277/480 volt. Stay safe!

120 and 240 are split phase (sometimes called, erroneously, single phase.) Three phase power comes in 208 or 460 depending on wiring (delta v star). Your panel does look like 3 phase. 120 is one hot, one neutral. 240 is 2 hot, one neutral. 208 / 460 is 3 hot, one neutral.

    • @andreassjoberg3145
      @andreassjoberg3145 Год назад

@@rodneygobbler6279 You are as far from yourself as you are from God. What does their financial situation have to do with whether or not I pray for them? Unlike you, money is not what I base prayers for my fellow humans upon. Why would I pray for a person _without_ money any more than I pray for a person _with_ money?
I do not believe I am capable of "enlightening" you in your present state.
But I will pray for you, that God will open your eyes to your own errors of judgment and understanding so that you might see the truth and be saved.

      3. I pray for the _whole_ Cornstar family every time I see a video . . . so, often.
That you believe there is some unexpressed "insinuation" contained within those three simple truths is evidence of a severe problem with your soul, Rodney. That is, your comment gives everyone who reads it a glimpse into the deepest inner workings of your own psyche and evidences some serious spiritual issues you possess.
Your resentment and spite are sins as old as Cain and Abel. I will pray for you and hope that you open your heart to Jesus and allow him to cleanse your soul and fill you with love until all that spite and resentment have no room left to exist within you. Thank you for commenting. You are loved. I will pray for you right now.

As far as your 3 phase shop panel goes. It depends if your panel is fed by a Delta 3 phase or a Wye 3 phase transformer. If it's fed by a Delta transformer then your "B" phase would be a "high leg", meaning 208 to ground instead of 120. If its fed by a Wye transformer then all single pole breakers would be 120 to ground. Sounds like you have a Delta and landed your circuit on a "B" phase breaker. Best to have an electrician come out before you let more smoke out. Best of Luck Cornstar Family!

If you want more of that big rock, just drive a big dump truck to New Hampshire. Mother Glacier left millions of tons behind. 😲🤣👍

Grain bin safety is as serious as it gets. Lots of danger in farming, think before you act, and act slowly and deliberately to stay safe.

Electricians everywhere, especially the ones with OCD are cringing in fear with the condition of your electrical panel.

Mark the panel in Red or orange to flag the Wild Leg 208v to ground. Or get 208v rated light fixture for on it. (They do exist, not cheap.) Better to get the power company to replace the transformers with full Delta 240v three phase. Far more common than Open Delta.

Try using a large compressor and inject air, it will fluidize beans .
Taking some weight off the crusty chunks and auger should be able to consume.
