Thanks for this, very informative! I'm new to GCP and noticed some magic where authenticated users can SSH into compute resources which is very handy. In my use case I want to create a VM that multiple users can SSH directly into using the browser-based GCP console, authenticated as their own user with their own home directory. I'd like those users to not need a gmail account and have usernames/passwords that I can manage. They should be able to connect to my compute node via SSH but not edit/destroy the resource. Is what I'm after possible with IAM or should I instead manage the users at the compute-node level? Thank you!

Can we have to create new permission once again, there is no option to restore the IAM permission once again. We can see the details of permission from the notifications tab, and we have to create those permission as it is.
