    The electric costs are a lot more reasonable in Washington than the cost of electricity in California.

    For an average resident of the King County, these prices look amazing. Time to move!

      We saw a lot of people relocate from the West Side throughput COVID when work-from-home became popular, people realize they could keep making Seattle salaries while only paying Tri-Cities home prices!

    If you don't like 4 months of complete clouds and rain from November to February this place is not for you. Also it will cost you 400K to buy an average home. This place is not for me.

    I find your videos incredibly beneficial. I am currently making arrangements to relocate from Japan to Richland. Could you please advise me on the best way to reach out to you from abroad?

      Don’t do it! Richland is an overpriced shithole compared to anywhere in Japan.

    Damn, houses are expensive over there now. I remember it's about 100K about 25 years ago to get a good house. Other costs are compatible to everywhere else. Cost of housing and renting is little less expensive compared to Portland Oregon, but it's still expensive.

      There’s definitely been a lot of appreciation in the last 25 years!
      Ever since the Hanford Site cleanup was approved in the late 80’s housing has been steadily increasing.
      Do you live in Portland now?

      @@LivingInTriCitiesWA Yeah. I live around Portland now. I used to live in Pasco, but I went to Richland quite a bit. Hopefully the house price come down a bit after this crazy time.

      @@xikefocus I'm the opposite, live in West Richland and go to Pasco quite a bit!
      Have prices come down in Portland recently?

    • @xikefocus
      @xikefocus Год назад +1

      @@LivingInTriCitiesWA I’m not aware of price coming down. I just see homes take longer to sell. The place I see price coming down is around Houston Texas (I watch some RUclips videos). I think there aren’t enough homes built around Portland for the price to go down. It’s crazy that we have plenty of land, but we don’t build enough homes, apartments to live. There are a lot of immigrants , people from California to make problem worse.

      @@xikefocus We've started to see prices come down a little bit here, but only ~3%

    do you think it would be smarter to buy a house or rent a house if im in the 300-600k dollar price range

    • @LivingInTriCitiesWA
      @LivingInTriCitiesWA  Год назад

      It totally depends on how long you're planning to live there, and what your financial priorities are. Feel free to call or text me if you wanted to chat in detail so I can explain the differences 509-567-5572

    So it is better in pays rent than buying house

    • @LivingInTriCitiesWA
      @LivingInTriCitiesWA  Год назад

      It is less expensive right now, yes.
      People purchasing homes right now are prioritizing other things like:
      -Predictable long term payment (no rent increases)
      -Building Equity
      -Stable environment (no unexpected evictions/moves)
      -Freedom to make the house your own (no permission from landlord required to make permanent changes to the property)
      If the monthly payment is the only concern, renting will be cheaper in the short term.

      I grew up just outside Vancouver, BC; can confirm it definitely is!! Plus it helps ease the pain of watching the Leafs/Canucks fall short of expectations every year...
