A real estate agent was telling me to sell my precon in 2022 and I did and buy 2 more with the profit, fast forward to 2024 Builder did not approve the sale of the assignment. I would have been sued for almost 2 Million. Would have lost everything and the realtor would have made 3 sales + my primary residence.
What about single detach houses? Nothing is built recently and not too much inventory for 2025? What do think for those houses in Vaughan, Oakville, ,Markham,York etc?
At no point did the BOC want the real estate market to take off again. It had no bearing on the reduction of interest rates. The BOC is keenly aware of the overpriced housing market and they don’t want to do anything to raise housing costs.. They only people misinterpreting the BOC is realtors.
