I don't think people truly understand how hard they worked on this film till you see the behind the scenes of this movie. They made it brick by brick. No "whipping" kids into shape for the camera. They wanted their childlike energy to show on the screen and they let them run wild to make that sacrifice. They gave this movie their whole hearts every last one of them. It's has lit up my life in ways I never thought I could feel as a adult. I even appreciate this more now knowing how much they had to do to make that movie magic possible.

He actually auditioned for the role of Lockhart but they wanted him to read for Malfoy, he didn’t want to because he had just gotten done playing Hook and he didn’t want to play two children’s book villains so he read it really pissed off and irritable so they wouldn’t cast him, but it ended up being perfect for Malfoy!
