I don't think people truly understand how hard they worked on this film till you see the behind the scenes of this movie. They made it brick by brick. No "whipping" kids into shape for the camera. They wanted their childlike energy to show on the screen and they let them run wild to make that sacrifice. They gave this movie their whole hearts every last one of them. It's has lit up my life in ways I never thought I could feel as a adult. I even appreciate this more now knowing how much they had to do to make that movie magic possible.

I admire him not adding it in, due to the idea that the pirates wouldn’t be as scary as intended. Because these guys scared the shit out of me as a kid. Specifically the one with spectacles. Loved Hook and the Croc tho!
