Hello all! Welcome to another flight review where we will be discussing if British Airways’ new slimline seat is as bad as everyone makes out. I’ll be doing my best to give a balanced argument.

I laugh in Club Europe every time I get a Neo 🤣 absolutely love the engine start up on those things as well. It’s a very pleasant plane to fly on. Shame BA didn’t include mood-lighting and they’ve removed the middle seat tray table in CE.
Would be a dream to see BA adopt an AirSpace interior.

Good film as always Matteo. Surprised seating is 186. All the 320's I used to look after were 180 maximum, even charter ones. Nice to see a night landing view also. Crew rarely get time to appreciate views like that😁 I hope life Stateside is going well. Toga! to the next video.

Another thing to mention is that the slimline seats don’t offer recline. Imagine your in Row 13 and the person in Row 12 reclines 🤣💀
I flew in a 777 to America a couple of days ago, it was the first time long haul with them since 2016 and the refit interior was a big upgrade, certainly the entertainment system was miles ahead the previous system that must have been original from the 1990s. The food was also great, a lovely chicken curry was served, really enjoyed the meal. The staff were great too, top marks for BA on my recent flight.

@@MatteoMariano yes I found your video and the seat and entertainment looks the same. The cabin felt modern and clean, there was enough legroom for me at well over 6 foot tall and i never felt uncomfortable even after 9 hours in the seat. They gave out their basic complementary headphones which I used throughout. The crew brought round water and juice during the flight, the pre landing snack was a roll and drink. It had nice mood lighting in the cabin. The crew happily got my kids flight books completed by the captain. Overall a very comfortable flight and the cabin felt a nice upgrade on their earlier cabin.
I went on an AA 777 in 2016 and remember that being modern bit bit cramped and I remember I find the seat a bit hard and uncomfortable so the BA experience was much better for me.

@@MatteoMariano I'm back now had a great trip to Orlando, we flew back on G-YMMD a 777 with RR engines, outbound was G-VIIP which I think has GE engines. Another good flight from BA, a night flight, seat was comfortable, food was not as good as the outbound flight though, I had chicken with mash and veg, the other option was a tomato pasta. BA cabin crew came round with drinks a couple of times during the flight including when the lights were dimmed for sleep, got a nice cheese and sausage bagel for breakfast. A very smooth touch down in Gatwick. Compliments to BA for a good flight and service.

Man I thought American Airlines was bad. Dude those seats look like something on Frontier. Also, that legroom is quite bad. Like really really bad. For example- American and United airlines have 31 inches of legroom. BA has 20. And I'm sorry, did you mention that THEY'RE THE SAME SEATS USED ON EASYJET FLIGHTS?!

There was a divider fitted when the aircraft were delivered by airbus, but it wasn't sturdy enough so was removed while a fix can be sorted. It's not up to the airline, its up to airbus

That is true!
They didn't look to bad tbh. I was flying on TAP Air few months ago which have the same configuration in their A320's. At TAP however the made the legroom smaller in the back. It was an absolute terrible ride in that plane.
Sorry to hear that, I’m yet to try them. BA have done a similar thing. There’s an inch more seat pitch at the front end of the plane. Thanks for watching!
