    They didn't seem as excited as Nate and Jeremiah's other couples. They didn't run and hug them, at least on this video clip. I hope they did hug them in the end -- as Nate and Jeremiah did a beautiful job!! They were very fortunate to have Nate and Jeremiah's design eye for the interior design of their home. Everything Nate and Jeremiah does is so elevated and beyond beautiful!!!

    I love Nate and Jeremiah. When I watch the renovation process and the finished product, I think about how would I shop to reno my house. The wife said "I never even saw a stove like that". When I shop for furniture or appliances, just as an average homemaker, I like to look at every price range. How do I know what I like if I do not look at everything? We get set in our economic comfort zones. Can we just treat ourselves to an upgrade occasionally?

      Because of being cooped up in their houses during COVID I've read that many people have been moving away from open concept because they found that they needed some privacy and alone time which open floor plans don't provide. Also, people don't like seeing dirty dishes, bar stools and refrigerators from the front door.

    I do like open concept.
    But so have a feeling the old days of desperate rooms swollen coming back.
    Just like carpets have disappeared they WILL COME back again.
    Because how much more modern can we go.
    We have to go back in time again to bring back some of those same comforts that our parents and grandparents lived with.
    Modernization can only go so far when the real comforts of home start to disappear.

    This is not my favorite of theirs. The rooms still look like they feel compartmentalized to me. That fireplace mantle is beat to hell and back. And it’s weird using Mediterranean design elements in decidedly non-Mediterranean climates. But I’m glad the homeowners like it-that’s what counts

    It looks much better but…I’m not a fan of the arches. It closes off space. I hate the stove being boxed in. The countertop should abut the stove for ease of moving pans and plates without going around a wall. I would have begged them or their help to remove the wing walls around the stove.

  • @beverlydust5381
    @beverlydust5381 Год назад +8

    The arches around the stove are not practical, and they didn't show the dining room ,to me it was very generic and didn't reflect their style. In this case I think that they missed the mark.

    zzzzzzz id be so disappointed, kitchen is nice if you are planning to spend most of your time in it, but i dont get that feeling its just a big space to open the pizza that got delivered lol No living room? sofas, cosy fireplace to sit around in the winter, just a big old table that doesnt look welcoming and to be honest ive been to homes where fireplaces are next to the dining table and its a nightmare, the owners love the cosy glow from the fire but from the moment you arrive you know everyone is vying for the seats furthest away from the fire lol, overheating while you are eating is not comfortable :(
