I bought one and i have an 80D camera. Cannot figure out how to sinc the transmitter with camera and use the flash externally. Camera is not recognizing the transmitter.
Let's try a few questions to debug the problem: 1) Does the test button on the trigger fires the flash? 2) Is the flash set to Slave and Channel one? 3) Does the flash work on the camera? 4) Make sure the trigger is all the way into the hotshoe. The alignment on the pin are important.

Yup, I'm having the same issue with my canon 80D. I answered yes to Trents trouble shooting and still nothing..
