I have lived through my share of fires on this stretch of I5, and usually, the firemen knock the fire down pretty quickly, it really does depend on the wind. Stay safe and have a great weekend.
Thanks for the update about the post fire burning in Gorman California but what does the sky look like right now over Bakersfield? Can someone record a video of what the sky looks like driving south on California state route 99 towards Gorman where the post fire is burning?
I don’t get these fires and they’re big you would think that someone that’s in charge of California would have the brains to buy at least 10 , 5 up north, and five down south that drop fire retardant on the fires so California doesn’t have to borrow from Canada, so when these fires barely start line all the planes up and dump . I don’t know it just makes sense. 🤔

Or maybe quit letting people bring fireworks into the state. There is a huge fire down the street from me from fireworks.
They don't attack them as well as they could; it's 6am when I'm commenting this, plenty of light...there are no aircraft above the fire lol
