Yay! I’m more of a fan when Celine removes the triomph logo from things, like the 16 bag. I don’t mind it applied as a pattern on canvas. But I’m sure it’s the big logo selling a lot of their items. Just a bit of a shame that Philo minimalist has been phased out .

Zou Zou is beautiful. Sampled at the Yorkdale store. Next on my list. The new bags are gorgeous but, my opinion, if you aren’t dressed in the vibe of the 60’s, they will be lost. They just go with the super mini, boxy jackets and tops, heavy shoes. I can’t see them with jeans, or even trousers. They go with an era where people were all dressed that way. The hobo bags and the Ava of course not, but the new ones, just seem awkward with today’s society. They are beautiful.
Ohh yes its beautiful! I definitely see what you mean. Structured bags are definitely more formal, and we are definitely seeing a move to slouchier, relaxed bags. But I dress super casual most days so I think a structured bag helps elevate my look. Thank you for watching❤❤❤
I really like Celine’s current collection. The shoes, bags, ready to wear, color palette are such a vibe. The Garance would be my top pick. I really like the boxy structured look.
I love the Heloise and own it in size medium, which does not fit a lot, so I'm not sure I would want a smaller version. I agree with you about Celine's direction - while PP had a cult following, Hedi has made the brand more commercially successful, for better or worse. I highly doubt they would just wipe the slate clean with a new CD in the near future. The Triomphe and 16 bags have been great sellers and Celine's recent sales figures have been specifically notated within the LVMH notes to financials as impressing the executives. My store here in Chicago opened less than a year ago and I know that Hedi's style is all over the stores. I guess we'll just have to keep waiting... and enjoy what's happening presently! 💕
