Steve offers good advice. Very good to heed if you want your boiler/ furnace to keep working and prevent costly problems when ya don’t leave well enough alone. Good advice. I like hearing his experiences with woman. I’m still waiting for the next one lol. I was lucky my fit bit fell off when I was getting up from a nap. I’ll bet that’s what happened to yours. Those chincy cheap bands fall apart. Cheap design I guess
Actually Steve is training anyone who pays attention to his RUclips videos here. So....hey....pay attention to Steve.....there may be a pop quiz at the end of the series.... Ha...ha...ha...ha....ha.. Great job Steve....
I would get a second estimate, maybe even a third , But I'm a tightwad! LOL For my area Angie says for an underground tank replacement should run from $1600 to $4600 depending on the tank size. He should keep that bag of salt away from the tank also.
Right, looking it up on the internet and it says average is 2000 to 2500, same tank on here, 1400 for the tank 600 to 1000 for labor, but it does say high end 5000 but says if needing all new pipes and in the ground work
Your question Steve about batteries is simple. Batteries on a concrete floor there was a time it was true because of the materials for the outer case, including wood! New batteries are made of hard plastic that do not allow contact to a damp ground connection. If you search the web, you can find more technical answers.
My nephew did just that. He was an apprentice for an old oil guy and learned how to fix burners while the old guy sat on a bucket. Toward the end of his life he gave my nephew all his burner manuals and knowledge you can't get anywhere else.
I understand the incorrect piping. But couldn't you separate the 1st and 2nd floor and utilize the unused circulator to create 2 separate zones? Just shows that you should hire or at least ask a professional before changing shit.
30 years ago I installed 2, 330 gallon tanks in tandem and from the start the oil company had problems with alga growing in the tanks and clogging the filters and lines to the burner from the first tank. I tried to tell my aunt and uncle to get someone else for an oil company but they liked them. Why I do not know. If you fill a brand new tanks and you have filters and line problems from the first fill up it should be a clear sign the oil is shit. The tanks lasted 30 years and every single time they got an oil delivery they would send out the service guy to unclog the lines and change the filter.
@@davidsturm7964 Bio diesel is in no way, shape, form nor fashion "renewable". Used cooking oil can be refined into bio diesel and once it has been consumed, it's life is done. Just as an aside, used cooking oil has been rendered for uses in other products for a lot of years. Chances are your bath soap, shampoo and a lot of the plastic products you use have rendered used cooking oil in them. It is also used is feed and fertilizer.
Batteries on concrete hasn't been a problem since they switched from rubber cases to plastic. The only benefit to putting the batteries on wood is if they overcharge and leak out the top, the wood will absorb the acid before it reaches the floor.
What I don't like, you meet her and she expects you to pay for her crap all the time. I'm happy being by myself. I just want to play the games with women. You have to meet a women, where she doesn't need to rely on you.
You got that right. I had one that I just met (approx 1 month), that was asking me for $200. I told her to cut her cable off and get rabbit ears, then she will have the money. Well that didn't go over well, so I deleted her number.
Sad part is, having to pay the ex-wife "more" after she got the attorney didn't really benefit her because she had to share a good portion of it with the attorney so the extra likely was going to the attorney, not her. It's a psychological illusion for many cases that a lawyer helps gain or drain your net award/pay. The expensive part of any divorce is the two not agreeing on who gets how much or what. Attorney's stir the pot with their clients, getting them to believe there's more to get which creates disagreements which create more motions for the court and each motion is likely another $5,000 to the attorney whether there is any gain or not !
rofl! Bio slime... I'm really ignorant on the subject. Does your house start to smell like French fries or fried chicken? That's like your cash machine Portuguese women! hahaha mamma! Thanks for another day expert Steve.

Nice video. "It's cheaper to keep her!"

Why not just shift that second pex line to the unused pump? Problem solved

There used to be a Law Firm in North Carolina Called The Buzzard Law Firm. I don't know if they are still in Business or not.

It says that this video was 3 weeks ago, but I don't remember watching it until today.
Too bad Steve, you are not training a young guy!! When you retire your knowledge and experience will be lost!!

Might all get the same oil from the same depot.
Seems like the furnaces are less involved and less maintenance $$$. Boilers have a lot of parts, seals etc. and that tank of diesel sludge.
Just had my oil tank replaced with a Roth. It was $ 5200
That seems high. The company I work for has been getting 4,500 with tax and permits with a Roth tank.
Biodiesel… from making your burritos at Taco Bell to heating your home.
Don't forget fried chicken, and potato wedges!
At least biodeisel is renewable!
Don’t forget fried shrimp oil from Disneyland & Disney World Florida Thank U Walt Disney for the biodiesel ❤❤❤

Steve's laugh lol 😂😂😂
System was probably working by gravity that’s why the 1st didn’t heat well
Crap oil. I am glad that I don't have a diesel vehicle any more. Prices have gone through the roof in the southern states.
Howdy Steve and Molly

Strange system. Multiple circ pumps and zone valves. Frankenstein
That's alot of money for a new tank.
I think you should charge more if you have to travel out of your limit
Marriage… it’s 0k until it isn’t then it’s 100s of ks.

Wow, $5k for a tank replacement. That would almost pay to put in a different system.
