Watched this match live, it was sad to see Carlos didn’t do so well on his serves
Good battle of the next generation. Alcaraz was on cruise control though.
ruclips.net/video/j3lkfTt7kHc/видео.html RAFA WILL BACK AT THE US OPEN THIS YEAR❤️❤️😍
After his cockiness attitude against Djokovic at the us open would be interesting which kind of attitude shows against Alcaraz next time, given they are the same age and that both are very heavy hitters.
Good match! And Nice haircut Carlos! 🙌
These 2 could meet in the us open final in a couple of days time ..they could potentially have am epic clash there !
Shelton is all-american! Like, looking at him playing and moving around you can tell he is as American as apple pie lol
ruclips.net/video/j3lkfTt7kHc/видео.html RAFA WILL BACK AT THE US OPEN THIS YEAR❤️❤️😍
What's that supposed to mean?
@@707ladytee are you American ? If you are and follow sports you can tell by the way some of the athletes dresses, by their mannerism and even the way they play if they are American , with Sheldon (first time seeing him playing) I was able to tell right away that he is American.

V nope that’s what happens when u almost win as many matches this week as he had on Atp tour from IW til now
Pur another change inbound Rune out
Hubi can beat alcaraz
He has to play very bad so the other player can have a chance to win, and the thing is he is one of the best recovering from a bad start, or a bad set in a grand slam.
Alcaraz looks like total domination. Shelton should be a top 10 player with the right team behind him.
The Imao Carlos didn’t play in total domination if he did I guarantee u Ben don’t get 9 games he been lucky to 4/5 if that was case
@@colethomas903 I was talking about Alcaraz domination in the next decade, not in the match. "lmao"
Destroyed the smile of defeat 😂😂😂
An effortless win for carlitos
Ben Shelton needs to improve some fundamentals like return of serve, basics of tactics and so on.
Ben Shelton is one of those guys who will make a big run and win at least one slam
They’re both the same age, I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot more match ups in the years to come.
ruclips.net/video/j3lkfTt7kHc/видео.html RAFA WILL BACK AT THE US OPEN THIS YEAR❤️❤️😍
Carlitos is one year younger
@@sararodriguezalonso5342 Only 8 months difference. Carlos is born in May, Ben in September
@@pureffm Eight months. Ben will be 21 this year.
@@707ladytee That's what I meant, from September to May. 🙂
A blockbuster they said it would be 🤣🤣🤣
It was great what are you talking about?
ruclips.net/video/j3lkfTt7kHc/видео.html RAFA WILL BACK AT THE US OPEN THIS YEAR❤️❤️😍
N Imao it was ok
carlitos really enj0y and also have fun , very easy for him
Shelton is so cocky without anything to back that up. The disrespect he showed Djokovic is surprising.
I'm not a big fan of Djokovic but I couldn't wait for him to beat the smirk of of Shelton's face.
2:27 VAMOS BENITO!!!
A good match between two top young players, Ben is highly talented with his weapon hard serves but he needs more time, more matches for getting better & better
Ben is not even close to Alcaraz
20 yo and 1 of the world with two gs in the bag... mind blowing
Shelton will be one of those high ceiling players, but inconsistency personified, kind of like Shapo, unless something miraculous happens in the coming years.
Like Monfils, Tiafoe and Kyrgios, he is in that other tennis league (UTS or Ultimate Tennis Showdown that is inspired from Basket Ball). It plays twice a year, once in Los Angeles and once in Frankfurt. For them it is more about showmanship and razzle dazzle, they don't care as much about the result. I feel this is what those players enjoy. They are gamblers.
@@pureffmbro what kygs can play consistent tennis
@@dinkydoodle8325 He tanks it on purpose just for the drama. We see that all the time. He loves drama. "Are you not entertained?". He doesn't have the drive to work hard, he likes to play video games and give a good show. Not much more. He doesn't have the ambition to become the number 1.
@@pureffm I don't agree with that prediction. It's too early in Shelton's career to determine what kind of player he will be. Time will tell.
@@707ladytee I am just playing devil's advocate. I think if he develops a backhand he can become a serious threat. Carlos was also more of a loose canon last year, now he plays with more control. Shelton sure likes to win, he is cocky and exhuberant. We will have to see if he can tame his emotions.
Carlos 🇪🇸
I can wait to se USA be on top of the world again ... but Ben has to change his way.. he has so much potential.
Shelton is like the American Shapovalov
Not all his wins will be easy. He wont win every match, for sure, there are other good players, but I hope Carlos sticks around in the #1 or #2 spot for most of his career.
Mark that’s true but he will have a dominant period
Vamooos Carlitos 🙄🇪🇦🏆🙏 Maintain your No. 1 leadership position for as long as possible
Now is USO Final !
For a moment in the beginning, I had to make sure I wasn't watching this at 1.25x 😅
2:02 - What happened here?
I think Alcrez won the point
I really thought Rune or Sinner could be THE opponent for Carlos. But NOOOOO WAY! He will be NR. 1-2 for a long long time. It's gonna be boring I guess :D ... I miss Dominic but Gael is playing amazing. TsiTsipas is gonna fall down. tbh
Good fight by Shelton; Alcarez is practically untouchable at this point :o.
Vamos Carlos!!! But, Ben will be a problem for a lot of players. Great showing Ben!
Baloney
Alcaraz is only 20 but he is already the most complete player on tour right now. Even his haircut is improved!
Ahaha
Nice comment
It would have been Amazing to figure out who wins between him and Federer version 2010 if they play with each other
@@freehope29 If it was just one match, I would give the edge to Federer because he already had all the experience and was on top of his strengths. But Nadal and Djokovic found a way to beat him regularly in the following decade, so I think Alcaraz would find it as well, if not immediately then certainly after a few meetings. Federer was great but even in his prime he always had weaknesses. There are not too many in Alcaraz's game despite his young age so I think in 5-6 years he will be even better player than any of them ever was. Of course if he avoids injuries, which is a big IF.
Very relevant analysis man.
Well, i agree with you.
However, if i Also do think Alcaraz could be better in terms of pure tennis than the 3 other Big 3, keep in mind That, and its all Also true for all aspects in life, That success depends on mutli keys: injuries of course, as you said, but also willness, mental health, personnal issues etc...
So yes, if all stays good for Carlitos, he could win 20 slams or more...
Ben did well, 2nd set could of been his
ruclips.net/video/j3lkfTt7kHc/видео.html RAFA WILL BACK AT THE US OPEN THIS YEAR❤️❤️😍
Shelton will catch up to the level of Alcaraz very soon! We will see this.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Alcaraz just too strong and smart
ALCARAZ GOOD LUCK!!!
Shelton is going to be an awesome player , he just needs more time and good managing. His gone give Carlos a hard time.
good job shelton , rememberig big mac
