Saw this pop up and I, without thinking, shouted “hell yeah!”. There’s no denying that Orla is my favorite musical artist and that’s never going to change. The bridge of this song I SO special, babe! The meta of “everyone else wants to get right back to the chorus” is simple and it’s like as an audience you’re holding on like “yeah I relate to this, I get it” and then that line comes and you’re like “fuuuuuuuck, you’re right. Fine, take us right back to the jingle and the hook”. It’s not overly complex and it doesn’t need to be. It’s just pure poetic beautiful songwriting. I ADORE these live performances. It’s what live music should be. The smiles, the harmonies, the absolute joy and fun you’re all having. I’ve messaged you before, I’ve left comments with praise for your work and I’ll keep doing it, I LOVE this shit and I’m SO stoked for this album. If you’re playing with dodie in the US tour, I’ll see ya in March. And regardless as soon as you book US dates eventually, I won’t miss that jazz for the world. Damn! Just brilliant!
