Thank you so much for this intro and demo! I will play a Fabula campaign with a friend soon and was looking for a video to help me quickly understand the system. Your explanation was easy to understand and covered most of the things I needed to start. Your great narration, combined with the fitting music, made me focused for the entirety of the video with no break! Low-key, beside Fabula, this video also introduced me to the Mythic 2e emulator, which I found really interesting. I might check out solo RP in the future. Again, thanks!

I'm glad to hear you found this video helpful! And if you ever need some guides to crack that Mythic GME 2nd. Edition, my channel has few videos for that oracle as well :)

In his playtest materials repository, the author has a much smoother initiative system. Basically, if the PCs are not facing a Villain, the PCs go first. If they're facing a Villain, the Villain goes first. None of this initiative group check nonsense of "oh, you roll to hopefully give me a +1 on my initiative check while I make the initiative check against the highest initiative score among the enemy group."

Honestly, that sounds like a better way to do it. Thank you for this I might adapt it!

I kind of love the attribute rolls and damage mechanics in this game. I can see them fitting other types of RPGs pretty elegantly.

Yeah I completely agree. Easily one of the best aspects within the system.

I like examples to learn new systems but I don't have patience to watch actual plays because of the long sections of roleplay and conversations between characters. (Nothing wrong about that, but they are not efficient when the objective is to learn a system). Your adventure had a FANTASTIC balance of roleplay, history, description, and rules. Thanks for the great work. It was the right length, covered many of the rules, you explained the rules. Awesome!

Thank you for the comment! Yeah my priority in these videos is to showcase many of the rule systems aspects so it is nice to hear the focus can be seen.
Also it helps when playing solo. It's quite hard to have intense roleplaying group conversations alone at the table :D

Might D6 on a solo character? Better hope nothing crits you mate,
If anyone's curious the most stand out ability in the game is the spiritist's heal spell, 40 points of healing @ level 1 which is 57-114% of a player characters total health (35-70 at lvl 1) which is nuts in a TTRPG context.

Thank you so much for this comment. Because I am not a native English speaker, I am quite nervous about my narrative and storytelling sometimes.
But I have practiced storytelling quite a lot through different mediums and all it takes is just courage to tell stories even if you would not be understood all of the time.
But it is also quite a lot of listening, You have to be interested in those stories and hearing a lot stories from others help as well :)
