When I first started watching you, I weighed 200lbs and had tried loads of diets - but I got weighed this week and I weigh 130lbs - without even trying!!!
@@TheJaroudiFamily Please get Vita Mix to send a high speed blender and food processor to Denmark. The only thing we’ve got is their juicer🤷♀️ I’ve spent so much money on useless blenders and processors😒
I just made these Very Healthy easy to make Granola bars, they are delicious, not crispy but soft and chewy, I dislike crispy and hard to chew Granola Bars. These are perfect, now my only problem is to keep from eating too many at one sitting. Thank you for the link, so much easier to save the recipe. I will make these again. Thank you so again.
Thank you so much for this recipe. I have seen other granola recipes but they always used oil. This is my year to get WFPB-SOS free strong. And you are helping me get there. You rock!
I made these today with pumpkin seeds, sliced almonds, dates and dried apricot. Delicious! Love how they are not overly sweet. I'll be making these a lot, thank you for this recipe!
Love those nature valley oat bars but yes they are SO messy to bite into ! Ten seconds to eat and ten minutes to 🧹 sweep up the oats that fly away. Your recipe looks yummier and neater to eat
Yum! This is just what I have been looking for! I made them just like you with mixed nuts and seeds but added 1 T of dry, sugar free peanut butter powder. Wow! So delicious! Next time I’m going to add chocolate chips! And I’m going to make it with my preschool class since I don’t have any nut allergies this year! 😃. Thank you for this delicious recipe.
Wow! You know it’s a great recipe when your SAD (Standard American Diet) family members approve. Love this recipe as you can really add ingredients that you prefer. You can use raw nuts or seeds or some of each, any dried fruit of choice and then whatever spices you prefer. For this particular batch I used 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, a combined 1/2 cup of dried apricots, mango, peaches and pineapple and cinnamon for spice of choice. Choices are endless with this recipe. Bet these are good using peanut butter or drizzling melted chocolate on top. Hmmmm! 😋😋😋😋😋👍
Your recipes are awesome! I have to say, the Dumpling Stew is one of my favorites!!! My hubby couldn't believe how delicious it was (he is a carnivore/trying to be plant-based!)...and the dumplings...so awesome...can't say enough (and I'm a chef, by trade!---semi-retired)...I LOVE your recipes, dear! Good job! The healthy tips and tricks that you give are awesome! :) Dawn @ Rich & Dawn in MN :)
I just noticed that there’s a smiley face in the granola bar on the thumbnail. 😆 And thanks for posting this recipe! I’m looking for a different snack to take to work to replace my usual cashews and dried cranberry trail mix.
I eat loads of this kind of thing (Nakd and Trek bars mostly - maybe just UK products?) so it'd be great to be able to make my own, totally wfpb version. Healthier and more cost effective! Thanks as always 🙏🌱🍪
I was going to ask about the food processor. I have a Vitamix Ascent series blender and have been thinking about getting this attachment. I have a hard time letting go of the super trusty, handed down Cuisinart food processor, though. Maybe I will pass down the Cuisinart.
Woah, this all looks great! thanks for sharing it, however i really like chocolate and i am planning to make this recipe with my true elements dark chocolate granola! Hope it turns out well, any suggestions?
If the flax and chia seeds are added whole for texture, Is it ok to grind them, as well? Also, I would love to see a recipe for SOS vegan apple pie crust, which might have very similar ingredients to this one. Love your recipes! 😀
How long did you food process it, you did not show that in the video. I believe I did mine a little too long because after baking they don't have a granola texture, it's more dense and definitely too uncooked tasting, had to flip once cooled and rebake the moist side. Flavor was ok though, I added diced candied ginger and coconut to 1/2, powdered peanut butter to the other 1/2. I did not use the milk, I used the little bit of soak water instead. I will make again, just food process a few seconds less, or pulse chop everything except whole oats, then add them and only pulse chop a few times. Thank you for the recipe and tips! Oh wait! Did you put the silicone pan on top of a cookie sheet when baking? I did, that might have been the issue for length of cook time, but not the texture ;)
Curious why you baked them. I thought they were really good raw but after baking they didn't taste as good and were kinda dry. I did use almond extract rather than vanilla. Would that be a factor?
I don't think they are raw. She said old fashioned, not oat groats. People sometimes say the are "raw" when they haven't cooked them yet, forgetting they were cooked before being sold...
@@justcarineinparis I agree even though she wrote "raw" in the ingredients...I think the same that she used old fashioned whole oats, not quick oats or oat groats.

I love to use dried figs with prunes. They taste like a fig newton!
So good!
Great idea, thx!
These look delicious! I think I'll try them raw, rolled into balls, yum.

Great recipe.
O yum! Definitely will be trying this! Thanks for the added tip for adding blackstrap molasses & maybe ginger, too?
Love adding ginger!
How much molasses would you add and would it be in addition to the dates? Thanks.
Made them and they turned out really good. Will make again. Thanks.

Any idea how many calories each bar has?
Yum
what Blender is that?
Sorry what is the brand and model of the blender?
Vitamix: 12-Cup Food Processor Attachment which works with the Ascent series.
I can’t find your link to this. Am I just missing it somewhere?

Yum!
I have quick cooking oats, can use it instead of rolled oats?
Yup that should work
Hi Britney can I make this recipe raw?
Totally!

I love your videos and recipes. It appears to be way more than 2 tablespoons plant milk in that Mason jar.
You can put anywhere from 2 Tbsp to 1/4 cup I found. This was measured out to be 2 tbsp. My mason jar is very small.
Curious why you baked them. I thought they were really good raw but after baking they didn't taste as good and were kinda dry. I did use almond extract rather than vanilla. Would that be a factor?
Our inspiration was the Nature Valley Oat Bars which are a bit on the dry side. You can of course have them raw.
They look good but raw oats are quite expensive in the uk so I’m just going to use regular oats but I’m sure they’ll taste just as good, thank you 🙏
