okay.I´ve just listened to several covers of other users here and with all honesty I can say that yours is by far the best! First : I can feel REAL tranquality here,second . one can totally hear that you put all your heart into your singing as well.You´re totally into it,like in your other videos too! Seriously,Thierry,you sound sooo great you should just send a demo to someone to publish your stuff! Not for money,but as you said yourself,for your own pleasure.Why not sharing that pleasure with the world?Just sayin´what I feel right now!

I'm very proud that you felt the expression that I wanted to give throught this cover. I mean tranquility, calm and also pain and darkness. It is this kind of sensation I feel when I listen the original DM song.
I really get great pleasure to do it. I remember when I was singing it was around 3 AM and I swiched all the lights off. And even in the dark I couldn't keep my eyes opened. Pleasure was so intense. I really was IN. In the dimension of the song. It was a great moment ! I get high I swear mainly in 3.32 ;-)
I don't think I will publish any demo or something. I just want to do it for me. Publishing covers on line on RUclips is a good way to share with the world.

you sang it in the dark....that´s so beautifull :,)...and you sound so much like Dave Gahan,I can´t believe it O-o! I admire your passion you put into your work,Thierry:).Please keep it up!! I´d miss your vid if you´d stop,really! *followes you in fascination and admiration*! Your whistle around 3.32 is actually interesting oh yeah! The word "interesting" doesn´t really suit it,but it´s the first thing that comes into my mind when I hear it(again btw.:)).You´ll keep up your work,right? I´d miss your cover´s badly,really!! Okay, yes I sang this one in the dark and it was good way to increase good feelings because I felt quite splited away from reallity.
From 3.32 to 3.50 I wanted to add whispered vocal on the main vocal track.
I wanted to make contrast between closeness (whisper) and distance (Church reverberation in main vocals). This part - I mean in the original song - is very interesting because it is interpreted in differents ways by DM in lives. I think it gives freedom and free interpetation to every one....
I am not about to give up and stop making covers. There is so much to do !
Just keep in mind it is very long because I am not a pro.
I'm on "In Your Room" an it is very hard song to cover. There is more guitars than other covers.
It must sound more depressive as the band was in 1992-93 and more fat and heavy. More insane and sick than the other ones.
Hard work.
