Nabers had some critical drops and if he would’ve gotten his feet down for the td it would have changed the course of the game. Everyone is to blame tbh

The next QB will be an elite run blocker & pass protector . He will also be a shut down corner & will be stout against the run. I hope he is versatile enough to hit 60 yard field goals.

DJ has his limitations we all know that, but god damn do these receivers not do him any favors with all these drops. They have to lead the league in dropped passes...

  • @razielthagreat
    @razielthagreat 16 дней назад +2

90% of his throws are screens and check downs. Aside from a key drop in the end zone, DJ took less than a handful of deep shots down field. Its not all on him why we lose, but hes not part of the solution. I bet Malik Willis would have done better// ppl dont like Jameis Winston for some reason, but he plays that game and we have a better chance at a win. Not sure why in year 6… YEAR 6. Ppl are still making excuses for this sub par below avg qb. Some people just like to suck i guess

@ebayer4life980 he hit Slayton deep & accurately. He hit Nabers for a TD but Nabers didn't get his feet down. Hit Theo Johnson for a TD & it got called back. Hit Nabers between the numbers for a 1st down on 3rd & 16 dude. Hit Nabers for another long distance dimes that Nabers dropped... I'll admit he threw a bad ball to Slayton. Could've got him hurt. IDK WHAT GAME YOUU were watching.... but he executed the plays Daboll called

yeah. But i have been seeing him since he came in, most of his throws will go high... something in his throws ... they will go high , people like wandle etc - have seen this many times, like that evan engram drop yrs ago,, his throws tend to be high and just that bit deep ....
But he is tough and good off the field etc..... He gets hit so much... i really would like him to succeed... but with this bullshit o-line ... what can one do.... we can get another qb in the draft next yr and if he ain't tough, he will go down the first few time he gets hit and will not get up like DJ does time and time again.
But I would like my QB to 'throw'... thats the 1st thing, can he throw... seems like something in his motion , the ball keeps going high and little deep + he time and again doesn't throw with anticipation (see the slayton hit, he should have thrown early...
Difficult to make a balnket statement tho even after 6 yrs, as he is behind a shit o-line. Very seldom you would hear from the comm "Jones with time" ... and i see h/l's of other teams and feels like the qb has so much time , time and again.
He keeps making mistakes in the end, where is the clutch eli play... on the last play, he could have ran on the right side (just like jayden daniels did), but didn't , didn't set his foot and throws... HIGH.
      so wtf to say.

Did you see what Dabbs said in post game? The strip sack was on DJ as TJ Watt moved and DJ shifter his protection to have Elumidor expect a chip from the RB, he told the line about the shift but forgot to tell the RB, which is why Elumidor like he got sl beat he was pro inside expexting a chip outside. He also screwed up the 2pt play but hicking the ball while his oline waa still talking to the refs. And on that last pick he had a wide open TE crossing 5 feet in fromt of him but was to busy staring down his first read so he missed him.

      Guys.
It’s so much simpler than this…
Go back and watch how many times we were in a “long” situation.
What was the play call? A screen or a flat, or where two plays played the flat as a decoy.
Brian dabolls offensive scheme is about as trash as it gets. Predictable. It’s why all defenses play the exact same.
Most times; there is no where to go with the ball and dj goes where he can that is part of the progression. Many dog him for shit that is outside of the progression.
Sometimes he should see it and rip it anyway, but hey. We’re not in the coaches room.
The next simple part of this - of those long scenarios… how many of them came from penalties…
This team has poor play calling. Some of the worst I’ve seen in the last 10 years. And to add to it, they are completely undisciplined.
Add to that, inconsistent QB play.
Add to that, drops in the most crucial moments.
Add to that, a below average offensive line.
What do you get?…. New York giants baby.

Whether anyone wants to admit it. when given adequate time he made some really nice throws. Problem was he was under constant pressure, and really quickly too.

    • @razielthagreat

So its the O lines fault. Are you insane??? Tyrod taylor played with a lesser line // Tmy Devito played with a lesser quality line and he got 4 wins in a row. Its not the amount of time DJ has, its that he only locks in on his first reads and is slow to process what the defense is doing. Its not cus the o line doesnt give him time. This isnt 2021. Stop it with the excuses. Stop guessing with your feelings. And go look at the drop back pressures from this game. He had way more time than you think

@@razielthagreat I was speaking specifically about the Steelers game, your reading comprehension skills may be lacking. For the record DeVito never won 4 in a row, he did win 3 and they were against terrible Redskins, Patriots, and not a good Packers team.

He doesnt throw with anticipation, doesnt process the field well, and doesnt maneuver well in the pocket. He has extremely limited football intelligence and thats why he hasn’t improved in 6 years and is extremely inconsistent.
