Awesome video. But, for what it’s worth, there is such thing as too much fast cut editing - it’s hard to watch! There’s a time and a place for it, don’t just use it non stop, it’s tiring. The edits around the 80s/90s footage should’ve been waay slower.
It pains me to be critical of something I've appreciated watching but please re-evaluate this editing philosophy over the last several months. As others have expressed here, it simply is a bizarre presentation of something so epic and memorable to so many of us in the sailing and sporting community. It dumbfounds me how it has continued. This VOR "edition" has been fantastic to witness and most of the coverage has been exceptional but video compilations such as this hurt your "brand". I still greatly appreciate the tireless effort in sharing as much as you have but please take the feedback as a sincere wish to parallel the greatness that this sporting event holds every 3 years.
It's an engaging editing style that characterises the intensity of the sport and does wonders for getting people interested in the race. As a highlights video, a basic intro to the sport, it does the job perfectly. The raw content and daily updates are produced for more "hardcore" fans, and the roundups are perfect for everyone else. As a new fan of the sport as of this edition, when it came to my city, I'd say they're balancing the two fanbases very well.
Awesome, I love it. I have goose bumps when talking about Fish and this amazing "fish forever" at the end. I have tears in my eyes.
