- Windows 11 but It’s Windows 8.1
Windows 8.1 is a release of the Windows NT operating system developed by Microsoft. It was released to manufacturing on August 27, 2013, and broadly released for retail sale on October 17, 2013, about a year after the retail release of its predecessor, and succeeded by Windows 10 on July 29, 2015. Windows 8.1 was made available for download via MSDN and Technet and available as a free upgrade for retail copies of Windows 8 and Windows RT users via the Windows Store. A server version, Windows Server 2012 R2, was released on October 18, 2013. Windows 8.1 aimed to address complaints of Windows 8 users and reviewers on launch. Enhancements include an improved Start screen, additional snap views, additional bundled apps, tighter OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) integration, Internet Explorer 11 (IE11), a Bing-powered unified search system, restoration of a visible Start button on the taskbar, and the ability to restore the previous behavior of opening the user's desktop on login instead of the Start screen.

Windows 8 was really beautiful ❤️ and lightweight. Too sad now as it's out of support
7 words, ahead and behind at the same time
@@JMCGhost if you change the start menu then 8.1 was a massive improvement over 7.
I don't even understand why people hate the start menu on 8.1, I loved it.
I think one of the biggest reasons why windows 8.1 failed was because people just went "windows 8 was bad, this is 8.1, nah it's probably as bad as the regular 8, I'll just stick to windows 7"
@@Dwaxxx yeah it was just that assumption that it was gonna be the same when in fact it was quite a change and for the better
8 is bad, but the best things almost overshadowed this :) ( Same for 8.1)
@@Dwaxxx The only 2 things which I disliked about Windows 8.1 are:
a. Some fonts and some windows were way too wide and long, and this looked ugly. I remember using ShareIt and the height of my laptop's screen was not big enough to show ShareIt's windows fully.
b. The older games and gadgets from Windows XP and Windows 7 were missing.
Additionally, the plane color at the logon screen and start menu could have been better, but it was not as big of a problem. Other than these, I always preferred Windows 8.1 over Windows 7. I am still a fan of the full screen Start menu, with a full sized Desktop icon 😃😃
You can also make the start button larger to replicate the 8.1 start button
windows 8.1 was good but why people think windows 8.1 is bad why??
probably because most people that uses it is not the target demographic of windows 8/8.1 which is touch-based devices. that's why people hate it, its a great OS if you ever used a touch-based device before
two words: start screen
The first version didnt have a start button and to grt to the desktop you have to press the desktop tile on the startmenu
8.1 destroyed the visual coherency of 8.0's metro. That was the one thing I disliked. Out side of that, it fixed most things wrong with 8.0.
I used a desktop pc and it was good
The taskbar though is not really windows 8, as the fullscreen version from windows 10 is completely different, so could be better
that's the full screen start menu and task bar from windows 10 not 8
it's the closest thing :(
@@yazanyaseen10 yeah but the title is a little misleading
@Rai Hormovitis I agree, I was looking for a more accurate windows 8 experience on windows 11, I'm just getting windows 8.10
Awsome, thank u, now I can use windows 11!
You can just DOWNGRADE to windows 8 instead of using random bloatware
@@RacooniTheTanooki I could, but I dont want to... this solutions is good enough, Im using it since. Works well for my needs...
I know that when it is for that split second if you had paused the video you can actually see when you were going to remove the rounded corners that the window seven and Windows Vista theme still exist in Windows 11.
the rounded corners thing doesnt work anymore, you got another thing for that? also some other things in the video dont seem to work anymore :/
so basicly windows 11 Win8 Edition
the sharp corners are just 🔥🔥👏👏🥰🥰
curved are also good
@@kociaparowka1 Of course YOU would think that.
@@Zycelz why would you hate on them? They are only a design change
Keyboard not working in search of explorer patcher in latest windows update of 22h2
Hey bud, know of any way to get the windows 8.x (the actual one, like an almost 1-1 recreation, not the windows 10 tablet mode start screen) in windows 11? using something like Classic shell (now known as OpenShell) or Start11?
I tried doing some research and I didn't find anything. I wish there was a start menu 100% accurate because it's the best part
Update: i found that there is start11 skin that replicates the windows 8.1 startmenu but doesn't fully look like it.
Whenever i get a hold of windows 11 i will make a better tutorial myself there a.lof of improvements missing
I like the look of the full screen start menu, but typing immediately after opening it doesn't trigger the search. And "open on the screen with the cursor on" doesn't work. So it's kind of broken.
The major thing with the full screen startmenu is that is always activated…i don’t need to see the desktop. Anybody have an idea about getting that?
winpatler will not respond when i change a color
YESSSSS. THIS WAS WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR. WEEEEEEE
well thanks to windowsblinds i almost completely fucked my computer and gave it a virus, thanks alot.
ExplorerPatcher can patch explorer into Ribbon UI
But seems everyone hates that except me
It can also get the taskbar tray menus as they were in windows 8
You put the wrong ui in WinPalette
Ok so I had an idea just now, what if we change windows 11 to windows 10 by explorer patcher and disable/restore rounded corners and a wallpaper of windows 10’s hero
Bro now you have to also make short videos as like 50% of people's time is going scrolling shorts 🙄 so I think you can make shorts on different apps like explorer patcher, taskbar X/XI, power toys, etc and show how to use them in just 60 secs 😉
60 mins = 1 hour
@@yazanyaseen10 Thx 😊
"hoe" lmao
is live tile on the start menu works too?
Yes they do I have been using explorer patcher since a year
How to get back To Window 11?
Open Add or Remove Programs and uninstall `ExplorerPatcher`
