Woow this was amazing! Thanks for uploading! I saw them in Stockholm 1983 (Construction Time Again Tour). It was crazy. We got beaten up by heavy metal-fans who waited for us after the show. Hard to imagine today that this kind of music was so provocative back then. At least for some people. They called it 'a threat to REAL music'. Ha Ha.
That's so ironic, considering the fact how many heavy metal heads (including some major artists) later confessed that Depeche's music was an influence on them 😅
the emulator on stage was a fake one. they said that keyboards for £25,000 was madness to bring on tours. especially since they weren't stinking rich in the 80's.
